Check Out Iam Justified’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Iam Justified.

Iam, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I grew up in Houston, Texas, where I learned the value of hard work, faith, and perseverance. Music was always a part of me, but life led me down different roads—from entrepreneurship to the insurance industry—each chapter teaching me lessons about people, purpose, and resilience.

A few years ago, I made the decision to step outside my comfort zone and build a life abroad. Living in Colombia has expanded my perspective and inspired a new season of creativity. The people, culture, and everyday moments have become part of my music and my story.

Today, I create under the name I AM Justified, blending Afro House, travel, fitness, and culture into music that encourages people to believe that a different life is possible. My goal has never been to chase fame. It’s to build something authentic that reminds people to keep showing up, keep growing, and keep believing.

Looking back, every setback became preparation. Every detour became part of the journey. If there’s one lesson my story has taught me, it’s this: all it took was faith.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road, but I’ve learned to see challenges as part of the process instead of roadblocks. Like many entrepreneurs and independent artists, I’ve faced financial uncertainty, self-doubt, and moments where it would have been easier to quit than keep going.

One of my biggest challenges has been building everything from the ground up without shortcuts. Balancing my insurance business while investing in my music has required discipline, patience, and a lot of faith. Moving to another country also came with its own learning curve, but it pushed me to grow in ways I never expected.

Looking back, I’m grateful for every challenge because each one strengthened my character. They taught me that success isn’t about avoiding difficult seasons—it’s about becoming the person who can handle them. That’s the mindset behind everything I create today, and it’s the reason my message continues to be simple: keep showing up, keep believing, and trust the journey.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I’m an independent artist, entrepreneur, and storyteller. Through my music, I blend Afro House influences with themes of travel, faith, fitness, and culture to create experiences that inspire people to dream bigger and live with purpose. At the same time, I own an insurance business, which allows me to help individuals and families protect what matters most while giving me the freedom to continue creating.

What I’m most proud of is building everything independently. Every song, video, partnership, and opportunity has been created through consistency, relationships, and a willingness to keep showing up.

What sets me apart is that I’m not trying to fit into one lane. My music reflects my real life—exploring new places, embracing different cultures, staying active, and encouraging people to believe that a meaningful life is possible. Whether someone discovers me through a song, a travel video, or a conversation, I hope they leave inspired to take the next step toward the life they’re meant to live.

At the end of the day, my brand is built around one simple belief: all it took was faith.

If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
If I had to choose one quality, it would be faith expressed through consistency. I’ve learned that success rarely comes from one big moment—it comes from showing up every day, even when no one is watching.

There have been seasons when progress felt slow, but I’ve never let temporary setbacks define the bigger vision. Whether I’m creating music, growing my business, traveling, or building relationships, I try to approach everything with discipline, gratitude, and a willingness to keep learning.

I believe talent might open a door, but character, consistency, and faith are what keep it open. That’s the foundation I’ve built my life on, and it’s the message I hope people take away from my journey: keep showing up, trust the process, and remember that sometimes all it took was faith.
