Hi Jamicka, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I started my blog/influencer journey in 2021 after being laid off from my corporate career. I have always loved to express myself in writing and now I get to do it for fun and inspiration.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
No, it has not been a smooth road. The battle of consistency can be a huge struggle. When life, your career and other things take precedence, you can sometimes forget to focus on your craft. You stop posting on your IG for one day and then that can become weeks at a time. In addition to that, staying relevant and up-to-date with the latest trends can be tricky. I am working on putting my craft first again and giving my supporters what they love about me. Consistency, authenticity and encouragement.

Aside from my blogger life, I am an HR professional. I specialize in creating the best talent experience for my organization. I am known for my professional yet caring demeanor on my job. What sets me apart is my drive to leave a positive mark on every individual I encounter in our HR space.
