Today we’d like to introduce you to Jasmine Bonilla-Davis
Hi Jasmine, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I’m Jasmine Gabrielle, 28 from Houston, Texas. I started my business spring of 2017 as a blogger & content creator, then it lead to other business ventures like Gabrielle Styles. I’ve faced many challenges of balancing work life, social life, and making sure I’m staying focused on my business. Not everyday is easy. The one thing that truly got me where I’m at today is trusting God and his plans for me. There are times where I don’t feel like making content or thinking about business plans. But I realize that God gave me the vision, skills, ability, and placed certain things on my heart for a reason. One of my favorite verses is Psalms 46:5 “God is within her, she will not fall.” I keep that close to me because through all the trials and tribulations, God will not fail me or forsake me. He can never steer me wrong. So, by continuing to have faith and knowing that my steps are already ordered. I can never give up on myself or the visions God has given me for my business.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It definitely has not been the smoothest. The struggles along the way, like I said before was balancing life and being an entrepreneur. Not wanting to create content all the time, because it’s a lot you have to do behind it. Then, not making sales everyday from Gabrielle Styles and just continuing to keep taking breaks from it all. It lead to a lot of procrastination and laziness. Which can just make you want to give up.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m an Attendance Secretary by week and content creator/blogger on weekends. At work I’m mostly known for always having a smile on my face, making people feel welcome, and having a positive attitude while working. When making content and creating a post I’m known to record everything, get pictures, capture memorable moments, and be encouraging with what I’m posting or typing about. Of course I’m going to include God in it all. What sets me apart is being genuine to others, giving them grace, embracing them with love, lifting them up, and just having a good heart.
