Hi Jastin, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself
My name is Jastin Martin, I am 21 years old and I fell in love with music before I could even walk or talk. I have a love for all genres of music being that I grew up listening to various different genres. Country, as well as reggae/afro are some of my favorites. I’ve always played various instruments as well as sung in the choir every school year. Over time, I’ve been persistent and confident in myself to continue perfecting and pursuing my craft which has gotten me where I am today.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Definitely hasn’t been a smooth road, there’s been some letdowns, some “no’s” and doors closed but not every letdown means to give up, and me personally, I’m honestly motivated by doubt and rejection. I guess you can say I’m the “chip on the shoulder” type. you just gotta move forward and trust YOUR process.

I make music, more specifically, I am a singer/songwriter, producer, guitarist, as well as my own engineer.
