Hi Jenny, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
To get to where I am today, I literally started in chaos. Poetry was an unknowingly release mechanism to release harbored feelings, emotions, pain, and trauma. However, I didn’t know then what I know now. It took for me to hit rock bottom and then humble myself before God before I truly understood or accepted the mission or purpose of my life. Also, when you lack self-acknowledgment, you prolong your growth.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The road was faaaaar from smooth. It was full of fun, chaos, disobedience, self-disrespect, neglect, and the list goes on and on and on. Lol. However, those things happened to me for better things to happen for me. Many times than most, we blame God for the repercussions that come with being disobedient. Kind of like a teen who skips school and then gets mad for being punished because they got caught. However, once I acknowledged I placed myself in the majority of the struggles I faced, prior to my newfound success, I started to make effective decisions to produce a sufficient, successful, and peaceful life.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am a poet, best known for my different style of delivery. I’m most proud of the progress and growth that I have made in the poetry industry. What sets me apart from others is that I effectively do God’s work unapologetically. I’m very vocal about God’s grace and growth on my spirit, my heart, and my soul.
Have you learned any interesting or important lessons due to the Covid-19 Crisis?
Most definitely, I truly learned that people will always do what they want no matter the possible effect they have on others. It really taught me that we have a balance of selfish people & selfless people. Those who rebelled against wearing masks which is for the safety of others and those who wore masks which is for the safety of others. It also showed me how much we, the people, are experiments. Get the shot you get COVID. Don’t get the shot, you get COVID. But still, push for the shot that doesn’t prevent COVID. The confusing world we live in, lol.
