Today we’d like to introduce you to Justin Neason
Hi Justin, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
As a teenager, my passion for gaming and content creation began with watching YouTube videos, and playing games like Minecraft on my mother’s broken laptop. As I grew older, I dedicated myself to learning how to edit and produce my own content, using my favorite creators as inspiration. Now, having expanded into the world of live streaming, I continue to push myself as a creator by taking part in challenges, competing for partnerships, and letting my creativity shine through in everything that I do!
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Content creation has definitely not been a smooth road, and I’ve faced many challenges over time. Over the years, I’ve faced numerous struggles, such as balancing content creation with work and college, dealing with technical constraints, and managing my time effectively. However, I stayed committed to my dream and always managed to find my way back to my passion, despite setbacks!
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I specialize in streaming competitive FPS and hero shooter games on Twitch, where I also co-stream esports events. On YouTube, I love making reaction videos where I break down cinematic game trailers and offer insights from my perspective as a self-taught artist.
What I’m most proud of is my ability to pursue opportunities and challenge myself as a creator! I have joined many competitions and challenges in the past three years, and I love testing my own potential.
I think something that may set me apart as a creative is the way I try to blend my artistic skills with my gaming knowledge. I’d like to think I am able to bring a unique perspective to the content I create, whether it’s analyzing a game trailer or discussing the design aspects of competitive games.
What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
While I live in the Houston area, I do not currently live in the city. However, one thing I’ve noticed since moving here from North Texas is how incredibly diverse Houston is, especially when it comes to food!
If I had to pick my least favorite thing about Houston, it would probably have to be the flooding tendency or the traffic. It’s really a toss-up!
