Today we’d like to introduce you to Kate Jade.
Hi Kate, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Since childhood, I’ve had mediumship abilities and been drawn to the mysterious. In 2011, I took a leap and left behind modern and traditional forms of religion and spirituality to begin learning ancient esoteric wisdom. It was a long, slow process of unwinding what I had been taught in my early years, but I knew what I was exploring was only the beginning of something massive.
In 2018, a lot of things began to shift for me.
I began teaching about esotericism to people deconstructing from modern religion. I also had the opportunity to travel to teach in Ohio to a group of high school-aged girls who were navigating things you hope no one ever has to experience in their lives.
Everything felt like I was just scratching the surface of what my calling or purpose was when I suddenly found myself in the hospital. I had been traveling for the holidays and was in Chicago preparing to fly to New York City. Instead, I ended up on an emergency flight back to the Dallas-Fort Worth area, where I lived at the time.
I had a double kidney infection, and unfortunately, the infection had already entered my bloodstream, and I was declining rapidly. The nurses on the intake team at the ER were certain I wasn’t going to pull through, and they had been tasked with keeping me as comfortable as possible.
And honestly, nothing they did provided any relief. IV antibiotics, Phenergan, morphine, Dilaudid, and countless other medical cocktails were pumped into me, but I suffered nonetheless.
I knew that if I closed my eyes for too long or allowed myself to fall asleep, I would likely not wake up.
I sat upright in the hospital bed for days unable to keep food and drink down. I refused to allow myself to sleep—when the disturbances began. Family and friends visited and said a spirit of death dwelt on the floor of the hospital I was on. Patients wailed in adjacent rooms at all hours of the night. Medical and technological devices in my room glitched, making it nearly impossible to press a button to call for help.
I began to panic as I saw a shapeshifting entity making its way towards me. It leaned in closer and closer, and I was sure I was either hallucinating, dying, or dead already. The entity handed me a package, and I hesitated to take it. Suddenly, my attention shifted to my husband, who was sound asleep in a chair in the corner of the room. He sat up, picked up his pillow and blanket, and began folding the items and placing them on a shelf in the room.
Confused, he looked around, asking where he was or what he was doing. He proceeded to tell me how someone had approached him in a dream, asking him to deliver a package to me, and he accepted it on my behalf. I was undone. I wasn’t hallucinating. My husband had seen the same entity in a dream that I was dealing with on the waking plane of existence.
This entity was none other than The Morrigan, the Celtic goddess of death. Others may know her by other names, such as Santa Muerte, but how she appeared to me was as the shapeshifting, bird skull mask-wearing, plague doctor, reaper type persona.
The next few years were filled with change.
By 2022, I had left behind Corporate America to exclusively run my own business full-time and found myself growing in my esoteric wisdom understanding at an exponential rate.
Flash forward to today, and I cannot separate any aspect of my life from another. I’ve found that I must fully embrace my love for the spirit realm, the spooky and scary things that most avoid, while also fully accepting my mediumship abilities, passion for storytelling and writing, and teaching others about esoteric wisdom.
For me in the current season, this looks like living as a full-time nomad, running a digital marketing agency, owning a metaphysical shop and wisdom school, publishing my writing in the form of books and articles, and of course, saving the best news for last—teaching through the new program I launched called The Mystic’s Journey, which is the culmination of everything I’ve learned since 2011.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The journey toward living authentically and freely is never smooth. There will always be opposition, people who want you to hide your talents—or worse, exploit them—but learning to overcome all of that programming and to truly deconstruct what you believe and why you believe it is more than worth it.

I am most excited to share about The Mystic’s Journey esoteric wisdom program that I recently launched. The program is set up as a gamified learning environment where people can learn about mysticism, esotericism, and occultism in a fun and engaging way. It is designed like a magickal quest that someone can embark on, earning crystals as they learn about new topics and complete various tasks along the way.
The Mystic’s Journey program is structured like a spider’s web where spiritual practitioners can imagine themselves at the center of the web, starting on their journey and making their way around it in a spiral formation that expands outward and upward infinitely.
There are three “realms” that the web spans, connecting together the key layers of the human experience. Students who enroll in the program will make their way through each realm, beginning with the physical realm and ending with the spiritual realm.
There are seven “threads” of the web that act as its framework, giving everything in existence order and structure. Students will encounter each thread along the way, beginning with the thread that defines the fundamentals of life, to the final thread that showcases the outcome of your evolution as a practitioner.
Each place on the web where one of the three realms and seven threads intersects creates 21 anchor points, emphasizing and amplifying the wisdom of where they cross, creating archetypes for spiritual practitioners to learn from. The first archetype is one that will introduce students to magick on the microcosmic scale, and the final archetype is one that will show students the world on the macrocosmic scale.
Each of these archetypes connects with a couple of specific areas of magick, resulting in 42 smaller trails for practitioners to venture down. Some may find interest in one specific trail, others may eclectically embrace multiple trails in their personal path. These trails span from Ancestral Magick at the start to Cosmic Magick at the end.
As part of the infinite spiral expansion of the web (like that of the Fibonacci sequence), there are 117 energies that practitioners partner with on their journey to be empowered with all of the tools they need for success along the way. These are depicted as epithets of wisdom that can be viewed as energy, concepts, or personified beings based on a student’s personal beliefs.
At the end of the program, students will have an arsenal of tools that will empower them for the rest of their lifelong journey as spiritual practitioners.
