Hello, my name is Kristen CheRei better known as KC. I am a rapper/ songwriter entrepreneur born and raised on the East side of Houston tx. I love expressing myself through my music and creative visuals. I have been in love with music since a young child influenced by the Houston screwed and chopped freestyle culture which you’ll hear in my music. President of An independent record label.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The road is bumpy yet worth traveling due to the destination! And memories along the way.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am known for being creative. I have recieved the best female artist of the year as well as the best song of the year awards. I love to write lyrics and perform on stage. I’m addicted to the creative lifestyle. I love to push the limits and aren’t afraid to go for the things I want. I’m proud of my work. My songs are my drive. This isn’t for everyone but it’s definitely for me. I get happy once I complete a project or goal. Milestones.
Are there any important lessons you’ve learned that you can share with us?
The most important lesson I’ve learned is to keep going and don’t stop. Hold my head up and work. Never let things distract me from my goals n be polite but firm when it comes to me.
