Today we’d like to introduce you to Lance Wiener.
Lance, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I started my theater blog in high school as I fell more in love with the performing arts. However, it wasn’t until 2022 when I decided to start a podcast. I would listen to crime podcasts and slowly ventured my way back into theater with a few theater podcasts.
I wanted to share the stories of the many incredibly talented theater professionals in any way I can – I knew that through a podcast, I’d be able to do so!
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back, would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It’s been a smooth road! I partner with the major theater around Houston – the Hobby Center, Theatre Under the Stars, and the Alley Theatre in interviewing actors alike!
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I host a theater-themed podcast called “Broadway Your Way!”
What are your plans for the future?
I hope to inspire many young theater performers, as well as give insight to theater like myself into the industry.
