Check Out Le’Asha Penn’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Le’Asha Penn.

Hi Le’Asha , so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
My name is Le’Asha Penn. I was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio, and recently relocated to Houston, Texas. I am a wife and proud mother of two beautiful little girls, who inspire me every day to pursue my goals and create a meaningful legacy.

My entrepreneurial journey began in 2019 when I launched Belle’Kouture, starting with handmade lip gloss. What began as a small beauty business quickly grew into a successful boutique offering purses, clothing, lashes, shoes, sunglasses, and much more.

Although that chapter came to an end around 2021–2022, it taught me valuable lessons about business, resilience, and serving others. During my transition, I shifted my focus toward career development and launched my resume-writing business. Since then, I’ve had the opportunity to help countless individuals strengthen their resumes, secure interviews, and obtain career opportunities they once thought were out of reach. Watching others level up professionally has become one of my greatest passions.

At the same time, I also founded Miracle’s Safe Haven, a nonprofit organization created to support local mothers and families in need. While I am still working through the process of fully bringing this vision to life, my heart has always been centered on helping people and creating resources that make a lasting impact in the community.

Today, my journey continues to evolve, but one thing has remained constant: my commitment to entrepreneurship, empowerment, and helping others reach their full potential. Whether through business, career development, or community service, my goal is to leave people better than I found them and to make a positive impact wherever I go.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Absolutely not. My journey has been filled with both victories and challenges. Like many entrepreneurs, I’ve experienced the highs of building a successful business and the lows of having to pivot when things didn’t go as planned.

One of my biggest challenges was closing the chapter on Belle’Kouture after investing so much time, energy, and passion into growing the brand. It was difficult to walk away from something I had built from the ground up, but it taught me resilience and the importance of adapting to new seasons in life and business.

Another challenge has been balancing entrepreneurship with being a wife and mother to two young daughters. Building businesses, serving others, pursuing my education, and caring for my family has required sacrifice, discipline, and faith.

Relocating from Columbus, Ohio, to Houston, Texas also came with its own adjustments. Starting over in a new city, building new connections, and navigating change while continuing to pursue my goals was not always easy.

Despite the obstacles, every challenge has helped shape who I am today. Each setback taught me valuable lessons, strengthened my faith, and pushed me to keep moving forward. I believe my willingness to pivot, learn, and continue serving others is what has allowed me to grow both personally and professionally.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I wear many hats, but at the core of everything I do is a passion for helping people create better opportunities for themselves and their families.

Professionally, I am a Texas All-Lines Licensed Adjuster, Resume Writer and Career Development Professional, Entrepreneur, and Content Creator. I also hold a degree in Information Technology, which has provided me with a strong foundation in technology, problem-solving, and business operations.

Through my resume business, I specialize in helping individuals position themselves for career advancement by creating professional resumes, and providing career guidance. One of the things I am most known for is helping people when they are in need and secure opportunities they once believed were out of reach. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing someone land a new job, increase their income, or gain confidence in their professional abilities.

As a content creator, I enjoy sharing my experiences as a wife, mother, entrepreneur, and woman of faith. My content focuses on family, lifestyle, motivation, entrepreneurship, and personal growth, allowing me to connect with and encourage others through my journey.

I am also the founder of Miracle’s Safe Haven, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting mothers and families in need. While the organization is still being developed, it represents a vision that is very close to my heart and reflects my commitment to community impact.

What I am most proud of is my ability to reinvent myself and continue growing through every season of life. From building a successful boutique, to launching a resume business, becoming a licensed adjuster, relocating from Ohio to Texas, and raising two beautiful daughters, I have learned how to adapt and thrive through change.

What sets me apart is my genuine desire to see others succeed. Whether I am helping someone build a stronger resume, sharing knowledge through content creation, or developing resources for families in need, my goal is always to empower others. I don’t just provide a service, I strive to create opportunities, inspire confidence, and make a lasting impact in the lives of the people I serve.

Do you have any advice for those just starting out?
My biggest piece of advice is to start where you are with what you have. So many people spend years waiting for the perfect time, the perfect amount of money, or the perfect plan, but the truth is that growth comes through action.

I would also encourage people not to be afraid of pivoting. Sometimes we become so attached to one vision that we miss the opportunities that are right in front of us. My journey has taken me from owning a boutique, to building a resume business, becoming a licensed adjuster, creating content, and developing a nonprofit. None of those paths looked exactly the way I imagined, but each one prepared me for the next chapter.

One thing I wish I knew when I was starting out is that setbacks do not equal failure. There were moments when businesses didn’t go as planned, doors closed, or I had to completely change direction. Looking back, those experiences weren’t failures at all, they were lessons that helped me grow stronger, wiser, and more resilient.

I would also tell aspiring entrepreneurs to build relationships, stay consistent, and never underestimate the power of serving people. Success isn’t just about making money; it’s about making an impact. When you genuinely help others and remain committed to your purpose, opportunities have a way of finding you.

Most importantly, believe in yourself even when nobody else does. Sometimes you have to be willing to bet on yourself before the world sees your vision. Stay faithful, stay focused, and keep going. Your beginning doesn’t have to look impressive for your future to be extraordinary.
