Today we’d like to introduce you to Luis Delgado
Hi Luis, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Officially my musical journey started when I released my first song on August 2022. However, growing up I always had an interest in music. Wether it was trying to learn to play an instrument or making song covers, I always felt a deep connection with music. My journey has had ups and downs from having creative blockages to writing songs that have been able to connect with people and most importantly that I really like. Although my song catalog is not as extensive (9 songs) Each release has represented a step towards the goal of finding my sound.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Not at all. As mentioned before there have been ups and downs. Something important to remind yourself is that having goals wether they are creative or not is important but more important is to learn to enjoy the journey.

I am a singer and songwriter from Nicaragua based in Houston. I have experienced with many musical genres. However, my main one is latin trap. I am most proud of the fact that I decided to act on my dream and wether it materializes or not I will still be happy with the outcome because I will know that I at least tried.
What sort of changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
The industry is saturated and I only see that continuing to be the trend. However, when it comes to the consumption of music itself I think there might be a change. Today it’s not just about the music, the visuals matter too, or the content for the song. Not sure how this will change in the future but most likely it will.
