Today we’d like to introduce you to Marusya.
Hi Marusya, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Hi! I’m Marusya!
My creative path started with a blank page, a camera, and a lot of passion. I spent years writing, directing, and producing short films, taking them around the festival circuit and taking home awards for Best Director, Best Short Comedy, and Best Director of Photography.
And then, there’s my absolute favorite title: The Creepiest Character. Yes, that’s a real festival award, and yes, I wear it like a badge of honor!
When 2020 hit and turned the world upside down, I knew I couldn’t just sit still. I needed a new outlet for all that creative energy. I went back to school, earned my Master’s Degree in Marketing, and built my own agency from the ground up.
Today, my team and I spend our days helping mid-size businesses break out of the sea of sameness, outshine their competition, and scale up to their full potential.
Having spent decades on stage myself, coaching felt like a natural next chapter. I work with business owners, C-level executives, and aspiring speakers to help them trade stage anxiety for real charisma, authority, and genuine confidence.
My agency and my public speaking coaching are my two absolute babies. I nurture them, watch them grow, and pour my heart into them every single day.
And because I apparently love keeping my schedule full, I recently published my very first romance novel, and I’m currently buried in writing the second! Holding that published book in my hands for the first time is something I am insanely proud of.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
The world is shifting faster than ever, and keeping up while staying genuinely you takes a rare mix of flexibility and discipline. And building a business or promoting a book feels really lonely sometimes.
The truth is, nobody moves mountains entirely on their own. When I hit a wall, having MY tribe changes everything. I need those grounded people you can vent to without judgment, lean on when energy runs low, and look to for a spark of fresh perspective when you feel completely stuck. Surrounding myself with the right community is privilege and that’s how we keep growing, staying inspired, and picking ourselves back up.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
Out of everything I’ve created, my debut romance novel holds a truly special place in my heart, and it makes for the perfect late-night escape. On the surface, the story might seem delightfully simple, but underneath lies a slow, magnetic burn between two fiercely independent people who collide in the best possible way. It’s packed with raw, emotional moments that pull you in scene by scene. My favorite thing about it? By the time you turn that final page, you won’t just feel like you finished a book, you’ll feel like you actually met these characters in real life.
So, before we go, how can our readers or others connect or collaborate with you? How can they support you?
