Michael Newman’s Journey: Empowering Through STEM

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The journey has certainly had its challenges. One of the primary hurdles has been spreading awareness about my services and the importance of STEM education. Many people, both educators and parents, are still not fully aware of the critical role that STEM plays in shaping the future of our children. Convincing them of the value and necessity of incorporating STEM activities into early education has been a significant task.

Another struggle has been navigating the logistics of providing workshops and training sessions, especially with varying needs and constraints of different schools and districts. Ensuring that these sessions are accessible, engaging, and impactful requires a lot of planning and adaptability.

Despite these challenges, I remain committed to my mission. Each obstacle has been an opportunity to learn, grow, and refine my approach. Seeing the spark of curiosity and excitement in students’ eyes and hearing positive feedback from educators keeps me motivated and reassures me that the effort is worthwhile. The road may not always be smooth, but the journey is incredibly rewarding.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
