Check Out Natasha Snyder’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Natasha Snyder.

Natasha, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
As a photographer myself, I would do most of my photoshoots here on the farm, as there were so many hidden natural gems here that I loved. Pastures, Food growing on trellises with blooming flowers of green beans, the pond with the island and Sunflowers. Oh….How I love Sunflowers. Then one thing led to another. I asked my husband to put in a tree swing for photoshoots. I then asked if he could build me my dream chicken coops of an old west town. And then a colored door wall. And then a greenhouse. One thing led to another and then I realized that my Outdoor Studio here on the farm was coming to life! I also decided that I did not want to keep this beautiful space of our farm just to me, and we as a family had decided to open it up for other photographers, artists and couples to use the space as they choose. We hope this place of course, is a one-of-a-kind space for photographers and artists to work their magic and for couples to begin their forever.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Smooth Sailing! I just wanted a place to shoot that had privacy and a uniqueness to create images. … it has only grown with amazing backdrops of what was envisioned. Still have a few things to add as soon as the heat dies down!

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I have tried and hopefully accomplished giving the opportunities for other creates to do just that… create. As photographer myself, I have poured out my heart and love in providing beautiful “sets” around the farm. We are a Homesteading Family – Growing & Raising our Food and Sharing our Farm with others, so this is a working farm when you come to visit!

The Little Ranch Farm is the perfect Outdoor Studio for photography and/or video sessions! Providing your clients with 6 acres, including a Texas flag on metal shop, gardens, a huge pond with island, bridge and deck, the greenhouse, Tree Swings, an old wishing well, 1954 GMC truck, clawfoot tub, color door wall, Old western town chicken coops, canopy log bed and so much more other gems on the farm. We also do not cut the grass/weeds in certain areas as well as clear pathways! The hourly rental fee includes your private farm rental with over 30 unique spaces designed with the photographer in mind!

Want to do outdoor boudoir? You can! Complete privacy without the worry of anyone sneaking up during your shoot.

Want to run mini sessions? Perfect! Loop around the driveway and plenty of parking allow you to set up your minis 10 minutes apart if you would like! And because there is no multiple bookings, you can design (add to) our sets with no worry of another photographer using!

Any advice for finding a mentor or networking in general?
