My journey into makeup started from a place of curiosity and self-expression. What began as a personal interest grew into a professional path where I now get to share my creativity and help others feel their best every day.

Challenges I’ve Faced Throughout My Makeup Career:

Starting out, it was tough getting consistent clients. Word of mouth takes time, and building trust in a competitive industry doesn’t happen overnight.

There were periods—especially during off-peak times like winter months or after the holidays—when bookings slowed down, and I had to get creative to keep things moving (like offering promos or investing time in content creation).

Social media can be both inspiring and overwhelming. I’ve had moments of self-doubt, wondering if I was “good enough” compared to others in the industry.

Learning the business side—pricing, marketing, managing appointments—was a whole new world. It’s not just about being good at makeup, but also knowing how to run a business.

What I’m most proud of is how far I’ve come from where I started. I turned a personal passion into a career through hard work, dedication, and staying true to my vision. Every challenge, late night, and slow season taught me something and pushed me to grow. Seeing how much my skills have evolved, the confidence I now bring to my work, and the impact I’ve had on my clients—it reminds me why I started and just how far I’ve come.
