Hi Patrice, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Hello, I am Patrice Dominique a native Houstonian and Local Live Music Artist in the City of Houston. I have been singing all of my life and began singing professionally about 8 years with major national artist and at notable live music establishments within the Greater Houston area.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The road has been far from smooth and has its share of obstacles. I am a single mother raising an amazing son in today’s world with all of its challenges. Navigating and balancing motherhood, going after my dreams of becoming a music star and having a career comes with their own set of struggles. Sometimes I feel as though there just isn’t enough hours in a day to make it all happen however I meet every challenge head on to achieve the dream.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am a bonafide creative, music artist, and singer! It’s my SUPER POWER! I am most proud of the love and passion that I am able to express through my gift of music and that it is received and returned by those that follow and support me!
The thing that sets me apart is that I embrace the uniqueness of my gift!
Can you share something surprising about yourself?
The most surprising thing that most people don’t know about me is as much as I am out in the public singing, I can be a bit of an introvert that loves to spend quiet quality time at home with my son.
