Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
journey as a makeup artist began five years ago, but my love for makeup started long before that. Growing up in Los Angeles, I was always fascinated by the power of transformation and self-expression that makeup could bring. My mother and grandparents had a rule—I couldn’t wear eyeliner or mascara until I turned 16. When that moment finally came, I poured myself into learning every technique I could on myself, captivated by the artistry.
In 2022, I relocated to Las Vegas, and that’s when my passion truly began to take shape. Friends and even strangers would often stop me to ask who did my makeup, and their encouragement pushed me to take a leap of faith into the makeup industry. What started as a hobby quickly turned into a calling.
When I started taking clients, I realized how deeply people trusted me to be a part of their most important moments—birthdays, weddings, and other celebrations. It was humbling and inspiring, and I knew I had to give them my absolute best. I invested in my growth, training with some of the best in the industry, including Flawless Faces by Brittany, a Houston-based artist who became a mentor and a source of inspiration. I flew to Houston for her two-day class, not knowing that life would eventually lead me here.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
This year has been one of the most challenging yet rewarding of my life. Starting over in a new city has reminded me how difficult it can be to rebuild—no friends, no family, and creating a new foundation from scratch. Thankfully, my time in Las Vegas allowed me to cultivate a loyal client base, which has been a source of support.
Being a professional makeup artist requires faith, patience, and staying ready for opportunities when they come. Along the way, I’ve been fortunate to build meaningful relationships that have inspired and encouraged me to keep going.
While I’m not yet where I want to be, I’m grateful to be in Houston, continuing to pursue my passion for art and beauty. Being featured in Voyage Houston Magazine is a milestone I’m incredibly proud of, and I’m excited to see where this journey leads next.

in creating soft yet creative looks, ranging from high-fashion editorial styles to natural, radiant bridal makeup. I love having the versatility to work on different types of looks because it keeps my work dynamic and allows me to celebrate the unique features of every client.
I’m known for my attention to detail, focus on skincare, quality artistry, professionalism, and my bubbly personality, which helps create a warm and inviting experience for my clients.
What I’m most proud of is taking a chance on myself and seeing how many others have trusted and supported me along the way. As for what sets me apart, I focus on staying true to myself. I avoid comparisons and instead stay in my own lane, building genuine connections with my clients—and so far, it’s been an amazing journey.
