Today we’d like to introduce you to Shannon La Rouge.
Hi Shannon, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I started photography as a hobby, mostly to get good photos of my newborn child/blossoming family…pretty soon, I started offering my services for family photography, maternity, fine art child portraits, etc..
It wasn’t long before I had a friend approach me about doing a boudoir session for her. After seeing what a boudoir photoshoot can do for a woman, I just KNEW this was my calling…to build other women UP! Let them see themselves through MY lens, see their beautiful inner goddess!!!!
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Ha ha, the road has been anything but smooth. I’ve definitely faced many challenges along the way. But without challenges, there’s no growth so I try to embrace each challenge as they come!
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I’ve been doing boudoir photography since 2019 and I’m only just getting fired up. Several models/clients from Shannon La Rouge Photography have been published in magazine editorials as well as being featured on very big accounts on Instagram. We aim for sensual, classy, glamorous, seductive, luxurious….because every woman deserves to feel that way. Our clients receive the works, professional hair/make up on set, access to our client closet, professional pose coaching and 2+ hours of camera time….it’s a whole experience really! One every woman deserves to treat herself to at least once in her lifetime!
Is there a quality that you most attribute to your success?
I’d say most of my clients give me feedback about how much they appreciated me being so particular about posing them. I’m pretty good at highlighting a woman’s most beautiful assets. And I have to say I think it’s verrrrry important that each of my models leave the studio feeling like a million bucks, otherwise, I haven’t done my job right!
