Hi Shantell, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I have always found a reason to celebrate whether it be a birthday, anniversary, you name it! Bringing people together and creating memorable experiences is what I love the most. My passion for event planning has not only proved to be a great strength of mine but brings a deeper feeling of fulfillment as well. I’ve ALWAYS had the dream of being an entrepreneur! I’ve had a passion for helping others for as long as I can remember! My journey began when I finally decided to take a leap of faith toward the pursuit of what really sets my soul on fire, which was planning events!
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The biggest struggle is being a new business.
It has been quite a journey. There have been some bumps on the road. However, I did not allow it to overpower me. But I’ve amazing support of my husband, my team, and close friends who stand with me. We’ve spread ourselves thin, many times, thinking that we can do everything when that isn’t reality. I went through a period where I didn’t know my worth and undervalued my business. With time came growth and wisdom.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I have always had a love for designing, so creating tablescapes, sourcing decor, and floral design is where I shine. I’m all about the details.” I have remained steadfast in my one true mission to always provide the signature standard of service and to deliver dreams, great event planning, and a Luxxe Xperience. What sets me apart is the experience that people have when they interact with me and my brand. It’s very important to me because I have a lot of love and light to spread through my passion, and I want people to feel that and leave with a lasting impression.
Anything in this life is possible. You just need to have faith and trust God. Philippians 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
