My journey into real estate began with a genuine love for helping others and a desire to make a lasting impact in my community. As a Houston native, I’ve always been fascinated by the city’s growth and development, and I wanted to play a role in shaping it. After earning my bachelor’s degree in business management, I realized real estate was the perfect field to combine my passion for business with my love for connecting with people.
When I started, I faced the typical challenges of being a new agent—learning the industry, building a client base, and balancing work with personal life. But through determination, continuous education, and surrounding myself with the right mentors, I began to find my footing. Over time, I discovered my niche in new construction properties, land, and working with developers, which has become a major focus of my career.
Where I am today is a reflection of persistence, adaptability, and a commitment to providing value to my clients. Real estate is more than a job to me—it’s a way to empower others to invest in their future. Each challenge along the way has been a stepping stone to growth, and I’m excited to see where this journey will lead next.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Not at all! Like any journey, my career in real estate has had its share of challenges. As a newer agent, one of my biggest hurdles was navigating proper training. Real estate is an industry with an overwhelming amount of information, and finding the right mentor and resources to guide me was initially a struggle.
As I gained experience, my challenge shifted to balancing work and personal life. Building a business as a new realtor requires constant effort, and learning when to push forward and when to rest was an important lesson that is often overlooked.
Most recently, I faced the challenge of defining my niche. It took time to pinpoint where my passion and expertise aligned, but now I focus on new construction properties, land, and working with developers and builders. I understand that challenges will continue to evolve as I grow, but I view them as opportunities to learn and refine my skills as a real estate professional.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I am a Houston-based realtor with almost four years of experience, specializing in new construction properties, lots/land, and working with developers and builders. I focus on helping new home buyers, investors, and builders find opportunities that align with their goals. My niche ties closely to my passion for real estate development, as I’m actively learning about the process and aim to start my first development project.
What sets me apart is my ability to combine my expertise in real estate with my deep knowledge of Houston as a native. I use this unique perspective to showcase the city to clients—whether they’re locals, visitors, or those relocating—helping them find not just properties but communities that feel like home.
I’m most proud of the relationships I’ve built and the trust my clients place in me. Real estate is more than transactions—it’s about guiding people through one of the most significant investments of their lives. Whether it’s a first-time buyer, an investor, or a builder, I approach every deal with authenticity, dedication, and a focus on creating long-term value.
Is there any advice you’d like to share with our readers who might just be starting out?
My biggest advice for anyone starting out in real estate is to invest in yourself—your education, your mindset, and your network. The industry is vast and ever-changing, so take the time to find the right training and mentorship. Surround yourself with people who challenge you to grow and are willing to share their knowledge.
One thing I wish I knew when I started is the importance of patience and consistency. Real estate isn’t a quick success story; it’s a marathon. It takes time to build your brand, establish trust, and create momentum. Focus on providing value to your clients, even if it doesn’t result in immediate results, because that value builds your reputation and referrals.
Lastly, set boundaries early. It’s easy to let work consume your time, especially when you’re eager to succeed. But success in real estate is as much about balance as it is about hustle. Make time to recharge so you can show up as your best self for your clients and your business.
