Check Out Yetro Caraballo Franco’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Yetro Caraballo Franco.

Hi Yetro, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I was born in Venezuela and began my career in media at the age of 19, working in radio. From an early stage, I discovered a passion for storytelling, content creation, and connecting people through meaningful conversations.
Over the years, I have worked across multiple areas of the communications industry, including radio production, digital content, sports media, advertising agencies, and content management. My professional journey has taken me through Venezuela, Peru, and now the United States, allowing me to build experience with diverse audiences and media platforms. Along the way, I have had the opportunity to work with organizations such as Grupo RPP in Peru, one of the country’s leading media companies, as well as various projects in sports, entertainment, and digital media.

About a year and a half ago, I moved to Houston and began building a new chapter of my career. One thing I am particularly proud of is that every opportunity I have earned has come through hard work, persistence, and a willingness to continue learning and adapting.

Today, I work at Motivactiva, a content and podcast production agency, where I serve as a producer, content creator, and editor. My work involves developing digital content, producing podcasts, and helping brands communicate effectively with their audiences.

In addition to my professional work, I am also a streamer and co-host of “Hermanos en la Vuelta,” a live weekly streaming show that my brother and I produce every Monday night in Houston. Through the show, we discuss sports, pop culture, entertainment, music, and life experiences, creating a space for conversation and connection within our community.
Looking back, my story is one of resilience, reinvention, and passion for communication. No matter where I have lived, my goal has remained the same: to create meaningful content, tell compelling stories, and contribute positively to the communities around me.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It definitely has not been a smooth road, but every challenge has helped me grow.
One thing people often overlook is that adapting is difficult even when you move to a country that speaks the same language. I was born in Venezuela, later moved to Peru, and now live in the United States. In each place, I had to learn a new culture, understand different audiences, and adapt the way I create and communicate content. As a content creator and media professional, it’s not just about speaking the language—it’s about understanding people, their culture, their interests, and how to connect with them.

Those experiences made me stronger and more adaptable. Today, I am facing a new challenge by working and creating content in English while continuing to learn and improve every day. Fortunately, my education and professional training in Latin America gave me very strong foundations in communication, storytelling, production, and media, which have allowed me to continue working in my field wherever I go.

Throughout my career, I have always found ways to reinvent myself. Whether it was in Venezuela, Peru, or now in Houston, I have continued creating content, producing shows, and building new opportunities. Looking back, I see every transition not as a setback, but as a chance to grow both personally and professionally.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am a bilingual content producer, podcast producer, video editor, and digital storyteller with more than 16 years of experience in media and content creation. My career began in radio, where I learned the importance of storytelling, audience engagement, and creating content that connects with people. Over the years, I expanded into podcast production, social media content, live streaming, video editing, and digital media strategy.

Currently, I work as a content producer for Motiva Activa in Houston, where I help create and produce podcasts and digital content. I am also the co-host and producer of Hermanos en la Vuelta, a weekly live streaming show I created with my brother that combines sports, pop culture, music, gaming, and current events.

What I specialize in is turning ideas into engaging content. Whether it’s a podcast, a live show, a social media campaign, or a video project, I enjoy taking a concept from the planning stage all the way to the final product. Because of my background, I understand both the creative and technical sides of content production.

What I am most proud of is my ability to continue growing and creating across different countries, cultures, and platforms. I have built a career in Venezuela, Peru, and now the United States, always working in media and communications. Every move required me to adapt, learn, and reinvent myself while staying true to my passion for storytelling.
What sets me apart is my versatility. I can produce, host, edit, write, develop ideas, manage content, and connect with audiences in both English and Spanish. I combine traditional media experience with a modern digital mindset, which allows me to create content that is both authentic and relevant in today’s fast-changing media landscape.

What would you say have been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
If there is one message I would share, it is this: trust yourself, keep moving forward, and never be afraid to start over. The process is not always easy, but in my experience, things do get better when you continue working, learning, and believing in your ability to adapt and grow.
