Today we’d like to introduce you to Becky Zamora

Hi Becky, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Psychologist. Author. Woman of Purpose

I’ve been a writer since I was seven years old, using words to make sense of life and connect with others. But it wasn’t until now—after decades of working as a Psychologist, being a Mother, and Spiritual seeker- that I published my first book. The heartbreaking loss of my 18-month-old grandson Mateo, and the deep sorrow of witnessing my daughter’s pain, became the most powerful motivation I’ve ever felt. My Book “La vida despues de ti” is lovingly dedicated to them both.

As Psychologist and Published Author, originally from Monterrey, Mexico and now living with my husband in Houston Tx I’ve spend years of my life guiding women and families through emotional healing in my private practice. This book is not only a tribute to loss, but also a journey through love, resilience and rebirth. It offers personal reflections and therapeutic tools for anyone navigating grief or emotional pain that often remains invisible.

Beyond writing, I offer online and presential 1:1 sessions and I also lead Novowords LLC a brand of Artisanal Mexican Intentional Candles created to support others in their healing rituals to connect with their own spiritual journey. My work brings together Psychology, Spirituality and life experiences to transform pain into purpose. I believe that when we honor our sorrow, we unlock the sacred wisdom it carries.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
My journey has been anything but easy. I arrived in the United States ten years ago, not knowing the language and carrying the weight of staring over. I was a woman in her thirties, navigating a new culture, raising a family and trying to rediscover who I was in a land that didn’t yet feel like home.

I studied hard, worked tirelessly, and pushed through every fear and doubt to earn a bachelor’s degree in theology and after that a master’s degree in psychology, both in a language that I had to learn along the way. I achieved all of this in my forties, proving to myself that is never too late to become who you were meant to be.

I built my own brand Novolution Healing Center LLC, while i walked through intense personal storms- but above all my losses-the heartbreaking loss of my grandson Mateo in 2024 this awakened a deeper purpose in me.

Everything I’ve created since then, my book ” La vida despues de ti”, Novowords LLC Intentional Candles, even my voice, is part of honoring his memory and helping others to rebirth from the darkest grief, with the power of healing and transforming their own lives.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Novowords LLC?
As a psychologist, motivational speaker, and entrepreneur, my work unfolds through different channels—but all with the same intention: to help people reconnect with themselves through healing, purpose, and inner transformation.

At Novolution Healing Center, my private practice based in Houston, I offer personalized therapy sessions for individuals navigating grief, emotional trauma, relationship challenges, or identity transitions. I also speak at conferences and community events, sharing tools for emotional resilience and conscious living. My sessions are known for being warm, honest, and deeply rooted in both psychological science and spiritual insight.

I’m also the founder of Novowords LLC, a heart-driven brand of handmade Intentional candles. Each candle is infused with meaning, healing rituals, and empowering messages—tools that help people create sacred space, reconnect with their inner voice, and set meaningful intentions. These candles have become part of many people’s daily practices, moments of grief, and personal reinvention.

And now, with the release of my book La vida después de ti my work has expanded into the hands and hearts of readers who are healing quietly or have felt unseen in their pain. This book is my soul on paper, a bridge between my story and the stories of others.

What makes me different is that I don’t offer quick fixes or distant professionalism—I offer real connection, lived experience, and the kind of guidance that comes from having walked through the fire myself. I don’t just speak about transformation—I’ve lived it.

If you had to, what characteristic of yours would you give the most credit to?
Persistence and Honor
