Today we’d like to introduce you to Bilaal Badat.
Hi Bilaal, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start, maybe you can share some of your backstories with our readers.
Made the best decision I ever made by attending Thurgood Marshall School of Law. Thurgood prepared me for the rigors of the Texas bar exam and practicing law in the real world.
In my first year, I helped countless south Asian families in Federal immigration Court providing deportation defense. I also helped families from all over the world in obtaining permanent residency in the United States. That work propelled my practice of personal injury.
I did good work, so the community began to trust me in their toughest times. In my 2nd year of being a lawyer, I undertook the tremendous responsibility of helping citizens and families of Houston in their personal injury and wrongful death cases. I have helped countless individuals and families seek compensation for their injuries and losses. To date, which is set to change very soon, I have settled close to $10,000,000+ in cases.
I appreciate the continued trust of the community as we seek justice on their behalf caused by the negligence of another person or big company. We help people and families that are the victim of drunk driving, car accidents, industrial accidents, oil field injuries, when people are hurt by defective cars and products, slip and falls, and most importantly, 18-wheeler accidents. Anytime they are affected by the fault of someone else, we are there to make sure justice is served.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
While it has not been a smooth road, the road has been blessed. The opportunity to help the people of the place you call home is a tremendous blessing. To be trusted. To be looked towards when their life has hit rock bottom; we do not take that responsibility lightly. Making sure everything is air-tight while putting our best foot forward is the most important thing and stressing part of this profession. We owe our clients the highest duty of care, and we will go to the end of the earth to make sure they get just that.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I specialize in the area of Personal Injury. Like I stated previously, we help people and families that are the victim of drunk driving, car accidents, industrial accidents, oil field injuries, when people are hurt by defective cars and products, slip and falls, and most importantly, 18-wheeler accidents. Anytime they are affected by the fault of someone else, we are there to make sure justice is served.
We hold individuals and BIG COMPANIES accountable for their negligence that resulted in hurting or taking someone’s life.
Providing top-notch representation and making sure no stone is left unturned is what has given us the trust of the community. We do work that makes the clients satisfied. They feel like we are family because we treat them as such. We are there for them every step of the way, making sure they have everything they need while they recover or grieve the loss of their loved one.
Perhaps the best part of my representation is my communication with ALL of my clients. Unlike other attorneys, I give my personal cell phone number out to everyone. My clients and potential clients have access to me 24/7/365. They are welcome to call me directly. When they call me, they won’t get a secretary that makes excuses of why the attorney isn’t available, rather, they would get me!
It essential the public knows that our services are $o to start. They will not have to pay a penny out of pocket for any medical treatments they need or any other services that are required on their journey to get better. The only way we get paid is when we win on your behalf. We do not get paid until we recover money! So do not hesitate to call me! We take cases everywhere in Houston, The State of Texas, and all over the country.
What would you say has been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
Patience. Patience is a virtue. Patience is the golden ticket. Rome wasn’t built in a day. This is a journey. Some days will be tougher than others but know that the sun will rise the next day.
