The Sweet Story Behind My Business
Back in 2009, this little adventure started as nothing more than a “mom thing.” You know the competitive mom era, when every school event or classroom party turned into a runway show for cupcakes, cookies, and treats. I just wanted to show up with something super cute… and had no idea I was actually stepping into my life’s passion.
What started as word of mouth, family here, friends there, quickly became more than just a fun side project. Before I knew it, I was baking thousands (yes, thousands!) of cakes over six years, catering corporate events, and delivering sweet little moments straight to doorsteps, offices, and hospitals all over.
Over the years, I’ve polished things up into a seamless system so now anyone from Galveston, Texas to Houston, Texas can hop on my website, order at their convenience, and trust that I’ll take it from there. For the last six years, this process has worked like a charm, and it’s something I’m incredibly proud of.
From classroom competition to a full-blown business, it’s been quite the journey. And trust me I’m just getting started.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Running a business is not always sugar, spice, and everything nice, it’s actually a whole recipe of trial and error! Like any business, I’ve had to iron out the kinks. I’ve made mistakes, mixed up orders, issued refunds, and yes… even taken losses. Every error was a lesson, and every challenge shaped me into who I am as a business owner today.
Because I know every customer deserves the sweetest experience possible, I always try my best to cater to them, even when I’ve stumbled. Those growing pains are what sharpened my skills and perfected my craft. Now, from presentation to taste, every detail is polished with love and care. People can feel your heart in your work its why customer return time after time.
That’s how the Luxury Treat Experience was born, not overnight, but through obstacles, hurdles, and a whole lot of heart. I’ve sacrificed time with family and friends, focusing long hours at a time, ive loss a lot, just to gain it again, ive had to utilized other people’s kitchen not having one of my own. Talk about “discomfort”. Ive threw in the towel a hundred times and picked it up again. As a business owner you cant unsee the vision so you just continue to fail forward.

What truly sets us apart is the spirit behind our brand. People may not remember every detail, but they’ll never forget a smile, a conversation, or the way something is presented with care. Every creation we make is more than just a dessert it’s a batch of love, thoughtfully whipped up and shared with you.
