Community Highlights: Meet Brooke Corley of B. Corley Digital Marketing

Today we’d like to introduce you to Brooke Corley.

Hi Brooke, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
B. Corley Digital Marketing started from a passion for helping local businesses thrive. As I worked with small business owners, I noticed a common challenge: they were incredible at what they did, but many didn’t have the time or strategy to consistently show up online. In today’s digital world, social media has become the modern storefront. Potential customers may find a business through a Google search, but they’ll often visit its social media pages to decide if it’s active, credible, and the right fit.

I realized I could help bridge that gap by combining creativity with marketing strategy. What began as helping a few local businesses quickly grew through referrals as clients started seeing real results, from increased visibility and engagement to attracting new customers.

Today, I’m fortunate to partner with businesses across a variety of industries, including wedding venues, restaurants and cafés, retail stores, wellness providers, and promotional companies. Every business has a unique story, and I love helping bring those stories to life through intentional content and strategic marketing. Watching a local business grow because of work we’ve created together is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do, and it’s what continues to inspire me every day.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Like most small business owners, my journey hasn’t been without challenges. Building a business from the ground up means wearing every hat, marketer, photographer, videographer, editor, strategist, salesperson, and bookkeeper, all while continuing to learn and adapt in an industry that changes almost daily.

One of the biggest challenges has been helping business owners understand that social media isn’t just about posting pretty pictures. It’s about building trust, creating relationships, and having a long-term strategy. Results don’t happen overnight, and educating clients on the value of consistency has been an important part of my role.

I’ve also learned that no two businesses are the same. Every client has different goals, audiences, and personalities, which means every marketing strategy has to be customized. While that can be challenging, it’s also what I love most about this work. Each project pushes me to be more creative, think strategically, and continue growing alongside the businesses I serve.

Looking back, every challenge has strengthened both my business and my confidence. It’s taught me to embrace change, stay adaptable, and remain focused on helping local businesses succeed in an ever-evolving digital world.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
At B. Corley Digital Marketing, I do much more than manage social media accounts. I become an extension of my clients’ businesses. My goal is to help business owners build a recognizable brand, connect with their audience, and ultimately grow their business through strategic, intentional marketing.

I specialize in working with local businesses across a variety of industries, including hospitality, weddings, retail, restaurants, wellness, and professional services. From content creation and social media management to photography, videography, website support, branding, and digital strategy, I help businesses create a cohesive online presence that reflects the quality of what they offer.

What sets my business apart is the relationships I build with my clients. I take the time to truly understand their goals, their customers, and the heart behind their business so the marketing feels authentic, not generic. Rather than relying on trends alone, I focus on creating content that tells a story, builds trust, and encourages long-term growth.
The thing I’m most proud of is seeing the impact this work has on local businesses. Whether it’s helping a venue book more events, introducing a new café to the community, or giving a family-owned business the confidence to show up online, those successes are what drive me every day.

I want people to know that marketing doesn’t have to feel overwhelming. Every business has a story worth telling, and when it’s shared with purpose and consistency, it has the power to create meaningful connections and lasting growth. That’s exactly what B. Corley Digital Marketing is here to do.

Do you have any advice for those looking to network or find a mentor?
One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is that networking isn’t about collecting business cards. It’s about building genuine relationships. Some of the best opportunities in my business have come from referrals, word-of-mouth, and simply showing up for my community. Supporting other local businesses has a way of coming full circle.

When it comes to finding a mentor, I’d encourage people to look for someone whose values and work ethic they admire, not just someone with a large following or impressive title. A great mentor is someone who challenges you, shares their experiences honestly, and inspires you to keep growing.

I’ve also learned that mentorship doesn’t always come from one person. Some of my greatest lessons have come from clients, fellow entrepreneurs, podcasts, books, and simply being willing to ask questions. Every conversation is an opportunity to learn if you’re open to it.

My biggest piece of advice is to stay curious, be willing to help others before expecting something in return, and never stop learning. Business and marketing are constantly evolving, and the people who continue to grow are the ones who remain teachable and genuinely invested in the success of those around them.
