Today we’d like to introduce you to Caron Woolsey.
Hi Caron, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My story is unusual. I have always had a love of style and design but took what I thought was the more practical approach out of college and pursued a business career, educating myself in both the technical and aesthetic functions of design as a hobby. My personality is such that I pulled frequent all-nighters researching even the finest points of personal projects. Perfectionism at its finest (or worst, depending on your view of it!). After building and renovating several homes personally, I was asked by professionals and homeowners to consult on their projects. It began as a labor of love and then evolved into a career when my friend posted photos on Facebook and pushed me off the ledge to pursue this in a professional capacity.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back, would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Starting a business is easy. Experiencing rapid growth and managing it well is hard. I am proud to say that we have done a great job in maintaining an excellent standard of service to our clients even when growing quickly (and during a pandemic, no less). It requires a great deal of forethought and investment to stay ahead of the curve. For me, that meant long hours and sleepless nights. I am fortunate that I have an amazing and talented team who believe in CW Interiors as much as I do.

CW Interiors is an interior design company that works with our clients to realize the best version of their dreams for their homes or businesses. We take pride in the fact that we get to know our clients well and listen to how they want to feel in their homes so that we can create a space that they love more with time…not less. What are your plans for the future?
We are well-positioned for continued growth. We are based in The Woodlands but have begun to take on more and more clients in Houston proper. We now offer 3D renderings and video tours of prospective designs so that clients can feel great about a concept before committing to it.
