Today we’d like to introduce you to Catherine.
Hi Catherine, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
My husband and I always dreamed of relocating permanently to the United States, drawn to the warmth, energy, and endless outdoor possibilities of the greater Houston area—especially compared to the long Canadian winters that
kept us indoors far too often. We began seriously exploring business opportunities at the start of 2025, and after finding a beautiful home in Magnolia, we discovered Chloe Lane Bridal was available in April. The idea of helping brides create unforgettable
moments on one of the most joyful days of their lives instantly resonated with us. We closed on the business in May 2025 and dove in with excitement.
While we brought strong business experience from previous ventures, the bridal industry was new territory—and that was part of the thrill! As a husband-and-wife team, we’ve poured our hearts into transforming the boutique into
a welcoming, personalized space where every bride feels truly celebrated. Texas has given us the year-round sunshine and active lifestyle we craved, and now we’re building something meaningful right here in Magnolia.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It hasn’t been without its hurdles, but every challenge has been an opportunity to grow stronger and better serve our brides. The visa and relocation process was lengthy and detailed, requiring patience as we worked through the
steps to make our move permanent. Transitioning into the bridal industry meant a steep but rewarding learning curve—we immersed ourselves in research, listened closely to brides’ feedback, and invested time in renovations to create a more inviting, modern
atmosphere.
The previous owner had built a solid foundation with genuine passion for brides, and we saw tremendous potential to layer on stronger business systems, streamlined operations, and a refreshed presence. We focused on adding curated
inventory, implementing efficient booking and prep processes, launching a vibrant social media presence, and bringing on talented stylists who share our vision. It started slower as we prioritized these foundational upgrades, but it set us up for sustainable
growth. Today, we’re proud of how far we’ve come in such a short time—turning those early efforts into an experience brides rave about.
As you know, we’re big fans of Chloe Lane Bridal. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
Chloe Lane Bridal is a boutique bridal experience in Magnolia, Texas, dedicated to making every bride feel seen, celebrated, and confident. We specialize in curated special-order gowns alongside a beautiful selection of off-the-rack
(OTR) options, with pricing thoughtfully accessible—special orders range from $1,500 to $3,500, and OTR gowns are available at 50% off or more off original retail for immediate wear.
What sets us apart is our commitment to a truly personalized, unhurried experience: every appointment is private (the full space is yours!), two hours long, and limited to you plus up to four guests. We play music of your choice,
create a relaxed vibe, and deliver one-on-one styling with a dedicated expert. Before you even arrive, we review your quick questionnaire and thoughtfully pull dresses that align with your style, budget, and timeline—ensuring everything shown is realistically
attainable and will arrive well before your wedding. We never want a bride to fall in love with something out of reach, so we focus on what works for her.
We’re especially excited about launching our own exclusive line in the coming months, designed with our brides’ real feedback in mind. What we’re most proud of is building a brand centered on joy, authenticity, and care—where
finding “the one” feels like a celebration, not a rush. Come experience it for yourself!
Are there any apps, books, podcasts, blogs or other resources you think our readers should check out?
My husband and I are lifelong learners, always seeking ways to grow personally and improve the boutique for our brides. We’re currently diving into AI training through Dean Graziosi’s recent programs (like the AI Advantage series
with Tony Robbins)—it’s opening up exciting possibilities for streamlining operations and enhancing the bride experience even more.
A book that’s truly transformed our lives and routines is
The 5 AM Club by Robin Sharma—it helped us build discipline, start days with intention, and bring more energy to everything we do. We also love resources on personal growth, mindset, and business
optimization—anything that helps us show up as our best selves for our team and brides.
