Today we’d like to introduce you to Cecilia Toltecatl.
Hi Cecilia, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I am an Astros fan, a Girl Scout mom, a band mom, and a college student. I created Luster In Faith to honor God and spread the Gospel through custom items. I firmly believe that God provides the business, I am simply a steward. I have always been interested in arts and crafts, so I began with custom tumblers on my dining table. After making my first tumbler, I began to get requests for more tumblers, and that led to requests for other custom products. It was then that I realized the direction that God was taking me, and I owe this business to Him. That’s where the business name came from, in short, it is connected to Matthew 5:14 & 16, where it states that we are the light of the world, and we are called to let our light shine.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It has not been picture-perfect. There were a few times during COVID that I did not think we were going to make it. There were a few times that business was so slow, it made me wonder whether I would make rent or not. Through it all, I believe that this is God’s business, and He has seen it through 6 years.
We’ve been impressed with Luster In Faith Enterprise, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I create custom items such as t-shirts, tumblers, stickers, and so much more. I also work with other businesses to create merchandise and digital marketing. Drawing from our experience in the hospitality industry, our business has been able to grow and has allowed us to branch out into other industries such as chauffer services. I am known for my creativity and attention to detail. I believe what sets us apart is the love and care we put into every detail of the products and services we provide.
Any big plans?
My only plans include whatever God has in store for us. I just hope to be an inspiration and a difference in someone’s life through the products and services we provide.
