Today we’d like to introduce you to Cj Bula.
Hi Cj, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’m a NY Native, a former NYPD Police Officer for 4 years. After working strenuous hours throughout the Pandemic and Riots I wanted to seek a better life for my family and I. The constant hustle and bustle of city life were wearing on me…no matter how Many hours or hard I worked I couldn’t seem to get my head above water. I was searching for another solution. By the grace of God, I found my new home in Texas. At this time living on a 5 acre property, I had no clue how to even turn on a lawnmower….but when I did I fell in love. It became therapeutic for me and some sort of an escape. Having a business degree and background I thought to myself what would it take to start my own business. Luckily I got connected with the right minds who convinced me to start my own company….I took the leap and today I stand as a small business start-up company working in the Houston area. Grateful for those I come across and able to bring their vision to life through landscaping.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It hasn’t been a smooth road, but the destination will be worth all the bumps. You’re faced with several challenges as a business owner….funding, clientele, and most importantly support. Who will buy into your vision? Lots of letdown and the least expected will support. This requires lots of mental toughness and grit. Ultimately this will build a character that will get you through the tough times.
We’ve been impressed with Supreme Landscaping, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
My journey will take you on a long ride but this is only the beginning. I’m a city kid from the Bronx, NY…minority blue-collar parents, and former NYPD Police Officers. As a former Police Officer myself, I was able to find my true strengths. My passion is hospitality, helping others acquire a certain feeling or expectation through a service. At the time I didn’t know what my service would be….until I relocated to Texas. Moving onto a 5-acre property I realized the importance of maintaining a property and felt the gratification of being on a property that was well kept. I was able to focus better and lock in on daily activities. Today I own and operate a landscaping company that helps and bring the client’s vision come to life. My brand “Supreme Landscaping” is the epitome of clientele satisfaction. Every single interaction, I dive into the mind of the customer. Learning and weaving through every need and interest of the client. This is what separates us from the others. We value quality over quantity, our reputation supersedes our monetary value. The #1 thing I want readers and customers to know about Supreme Landscaping is we give you a 1-to-1 experience in bringing our client’s vision to life.
What makes you happy?
My happiness doesn’t come from a monetary return. My happiness comes from the result of our service…did we make your vision come to life? Are we sustaining that vision? Feedback on how we can improve and implement to keep customers happy.
