Today we’d like to introduce you to Devin D. Streeter ( Skeet )
Devin D., we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I use to go by Skeet Da Yung Poet , but I now go by Devin D. Streeter ( In which it is my government name ) & I still go by Skeet since that’s my child hood nick name . But before launching my company and everything under it I was pursuing Poetry .while pursuing poetry and getting noticed for my craft I chose to start this movement ; where as it was never intended to be a company or business but just a movement by the Name of S.D.Y.P The Movement where We imprint the initials SDYP Meaning Success , Determination , Youth , & Prosperity on the Universe . But it became so much more . In late 2021 I launched a Music Distribution platform powered by the Movement called SDYP Digital . Where we assist Artists , Labels, Producers , Managers & Independent Distributors with distributing their music & music videos ; while monetizing& managing their music and getting compensated properly ( similar to Distrokid , Cd Baby , United masters , Tunecore & etc. ) .On another note I’m working on a few other solutions for SDYP The Movement to come out with no later than 2025 ., and it’s so much more I’m Working on behinds the scenes as far as launching a label “SDYP the Label in which that is a division of a Music Company by the name of Streeter Music Group ; that would also be the home of some dope independent Labels in the future . I could go on and on but it’s so much more .

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
No it’ hasn’t been smooth at all . Going through obstacles left and right . While trying to building an empire is a lot of work . Being told what you are trying to build is impossible , having people not trust the vision and give up, and in the midst of it all dealing with personal battles in your life makes it hard to keep going ; but for me it has been the fuel to everything I’m building . And I appreciate the few that stayed down and trusted the Process . Their loyalty won’t go unnoticed .
As you know, we’re big fans of S.D.Y.P The Movement. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
For the Most Part SDYP The Movement is more than a business or corporation. It’s a Family and it’s a way for us to Give Back . And most of all the goal is to imprint the Initials SDYP ( meaning Success , Determination, Youth , & Prosperity ) on the universe; while showing everyone that it’s never too late or too early to chase your dreams . SDYP digital is one of the solutions & services we’ve created and has been our main focus lately to help Artists , Labels , Producers , Managers, & independent Distributors take control control of their music while cutting out the middle man . The closer we get to the year 2025 we will begin to launch other solutions & services . But also I will be looking for artists to sign to label I’m working on S.D.Y.P The Label . But the first place I will be looking for those artists is in the SDYP Digital platform . Also will be looking for labels to partner with for my Music Company “Streeter Music Group “ and again the first place I will place I will be looking for those Labels in is the SDYP Digital Platform .
Besides that I do offer mentorship , guidance , and/or management to Entrepreneurs ,Creators , Artists, Producers , & Small business Owners ,
We’d be interested to hear your thoughts on luck and what role, if any, you feel it’s played for you?
I wouldn’t call any of it good or bad luck . But understanding my purpose while embracing everything that comes my way “ the good & the bad “ . Understanding that it all is apart of my journey and I don’t have to run from it ; I need to run with it or through it to make my dreams become reality . Because of that I’m unstoppable and I’ll achieve everything I want in life & business ; with also the help from God . Because I’m also blessed & highly favored .
