Dr. Bridgett Tate is a licensed psychologist and owner of Macchian Solutions, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization geared toward helping heal families and catalyzing change. Founded in November 2022, our team provides a comprehensive range of therapy and coaching, psychological evaluations, continuing education courses, parenting groups, case management, and enrichment services to individuals and families in the Houston area. We pride ourselves on our commitment to enhancing the well-being of our clients through evidence-based practices and innovative solutions.
Macchian Solutions is unique in that we offer holistic treatment for a wide range of conditions, including neuropsychological disorders, trauma and stress, attachment difficulties, and education concerns. We aim to assist the person and not just treat the symptom. Frequently, this requires intense collaboration with family members, schools, other professionals, and community members.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back, would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
At Macchian Solutions, we do not believe in turning down anyone who requests assistance. In keeping with our mission, we have had to be creative in identifying funding sources. We fundraise year-round to ensure our impact keeps pace with the demand; however, recently, major insurance carriers have begun to deny or reject claims made for therapeutic services. Even so, we stay committed to our vision and will continue to fundraise and serve the community.

Quantitative Research Consultation: We offer a specialized research consultation program focusing on quantitative research methods. Our team of expert consultants provides guidance on study design, data analysis, and interpretation, ensuring rigor and reliability in research outcomes.

Macchian Solutions is 100% BIPOC owned and operated. Our expert clinicians have diverse backgrounds and training, as well. Many of our practitioners are first-generation immigrants and graduates. We are striving to keep representation front and center in the mental health field.
