Community Highlights: Meet Eduardo Ayala of FIT128

Today we’d like to introduce you to Eduardo Ayala.

Hi Eduardo, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I began working within the fitness industry at a local fitness connection at the age of 18 (26 now from when this interview was conducted). In that setting, I would meet many individuals who now have competed(bodybuilding, powerlifting, etc.) pursued a career in fitness, and who started up their very own gyms/studios. In my time there, little under 3 years, I managed to help many people, who to the very day recall a moment where I served as an influence and or guidance in their fitness journey. I wouldn’t remain there due to a more promising financial opportunity. In that time, I would find myself working in the refineries and also involved in ministry for a Christian evangelical church. I lost myself and let go of something that had been so important to me, there is no regrets in that season rather, it allowed me to come back stronger and wiser in my very own approach to get back in to a healthy lifestyle. I would lose 50lbs of body fat and rebuild the strength and muscle I had lost. It rekindled my old passion and I took off with it.

1 year later 2020 pursued my certification through ACE and decided I wanted to work with a local warehouse gym my close friends owned (Delta Athletics). There began my journey as a personal trainer and coach, 9 months later, I would make the decision to get my very own studio so grow as a business/brand/individual. In that, I’ve been able to enhance the experience for my clients to work with me in a private setting with a “vibey” atmosphere (as described by 1st impressions from those who have been here). My beginning has brought many people into my life, including local trainers, who I have good friendships with. My plan is to continue to deliver the best service I am able to bring, making it the reason why I’m the trainer, my people come to.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Definitely not a smooth road, from the building process, to obtaining permits, to finding your very own trademark in the business. It’s all a process, and yet, it’s so rewarding when you know you’ve fought to get where you are and even so continue to fight for the vision you have. I’d live it all over again, because I love the process.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
