Community Highlights: Meet Elaine Bailey, The Cheesecake Queen

Today we’d like to introduce you to Elaine Bailey.

Hi Elaine, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
It all started with the Easy-Bake Oven that my Grandma Vilma gifted me. I would make cupcakes, cakes, brownies, and cookies for all my relatives at the tender age of seven. Once I got older, my mother helped me refine my baking skills with her own impromptu classes. She would always challenge me to get better and try harder. Her efforts along with my creativity helped birth “The Cheesecake Queen”!

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
As an entrepreneur, you will definitely face challenges but how you respond determines your success. Juggling a family, a career, and business is a skill that is unmatched. I have learned how to help my sons with their homework and bake a Peach Cobbler Cheesecake simultaneously.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
I specialize in streamlining operations and improving organizational systems. I love working with small businesses and startups. I have a robust portfolio that keeps growing by the day.

In terms of your work and the industry, what are some of the changes you are expecting to see over the next five to ten years?
I see the micro-event trend continuing and the need for dessert artisans such as myself continuing to soar. I also believe that requests for more farm-to-table desserts will increase.
