Hi Germesie, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I started my Buisness of owning my own private care Buisness because I wanted to make a difference when it came to elderly care and caring for those who can’t care for themselves and also create a safe space for not only my clients but for my caregivers as well because all to often we have these agencies that are just in it for the money and disregard the clients needs and look over how hard the caregivers work and dedicate themselves to care for others with little pay making it difficult to care for their families so I wanted to create a Buisness that also cater to not only the clients but the caregivers to I believed that if you take care of your people they will take care of you so in 2022 I left my agencies that I dedicated my life to for over 7 years and stepped out on faith and created my own lane to actually make a difference not only in my life but to my clients and caregivers life as well I lost my mother to breast cancer in 2003 , I had just come out of nursing school and ended up caring for my mother she was only 45 years old when she passed away with breast cancer and at that moment I told myself that I would continue on making a difference in her name and in 2023 ADA ANGELS PRIVATE CARE LLC Was born nothing has made me more proud since launching my company to continue on doing the work that iv enjoyed doing for the past 25 years this is where my heart is and will always be caring for those who can’t care for themselves and making sure their lives are a little bit easier to endure day by day
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Nothing was smooth about starting the business in fact it was a bit challenging because I put my heart into trying to find genuine people to come aboard and help me build my company and I started out hiring friends thinking that just cause they where my friends they would be loyal to me and that I could trust them
To do a good job and just overall give them
A chance to do something remarkable with me but I found out very quickly that I made a mistake in trusting that my friends would have my back like I had theirs and not all my friends made a believer out me just a few I had to walk away from because they where just not aligned with what I believed in so just finding great caregivers was the most challenging in the beginning but now I have a amazing staff and some amazing caregivers that go over and beyond for me and the clients I’m
So blessed to have such a solid crew to continue on helping me build my company
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
I’m The Owner of my Buisness and I take proud in taking on any elderly or anyone in need of help to be able to live a normal life or daily activities to function as any other human being I love what I do and I love making a difference in other people lives what I’m most proud of is how many lives iv impacted from actually caring for them
And just being there in their time of need being able to help these families with hard decision making and just being that comfort they need to get threw some of the hard days of their life make my heart smile
