Community Highlights: Meet Hallie Lively of Practical Magic Apothecary

Today we’d like to introduce you to Hallie Lively

Hi hallie, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I’m a disabled veteran,I wanted to get away from big pharma and started researching more natural approaches to aches, pains and sleeping.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Oh no there have definitely been a few bumps from packaging and shipping. I think that comes with the territory of a new business.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Practical Magic Apothecary ?
I offer everything from local bee pollen for allergies, magnesium spray for sleep, celtic salt for minerals and I’m really known for my tallow. I source and render it locally. I have 3 different types of tallow. One infused with magnesium for achy joints. Hyaluronic tallow for wrinkles and then a plain tallow for moisturizer. They all three are Rich in Vitamins A, D, E, and K – Vitamin A is a natural retinol while vitamin K fights free radical damage. Each one targets a specific need.

Who else deserves credit in your story?
Yes my hugest supporters are Jessica Fultz from Billie Co Clothing and Erica Chauvin with FlourChild Homestead. They spread the word all over Texas and bring in new clients. They are two strong women that I adore. Erika is my main mentor with all of it.
