Hi Jasleen, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstories with our readers.
I was raised by an entrepreneur father who had high hopes for me. He set me up for success by believing in me wholeheartedly and reminding me of that every day of my life. He was an immigrant success story himself with an unmatched and diligent work ethic, showcased by his accomplished businesses. He encouraged me to follow my dreams, which as I grew up were to work in the medical field.
I found so much joy in treating others and giving back to my community. When my father ended up in the hospital after a debilitating heart attack, he would beam to every doctor, nurse, and CNA that his daughter is a Physician Associate. My father also urged me regularly to start a new endeavor on my own, which I would meet with “I am not sure I can” and “that seems like too much for me to handle right now.”
Little did I realize, his dreams for me would eventually become a reality in the form of Pout Medspa. Unfortunately, my Medspa came to fruition after he passed in 2019. However, his dreams for me have lived on as I built my very own business in North Houston. Pout Medspa started for me as a simple franchise opportunity to make extra money while I still worked in an urgent care setting as a PA.
Soon enough, I was building incredible relationships with my patients and my business was growing rapidly through word of mouth and referrals alone. Before I knew it I was devoted 100% to my Medspa and had to leave my urgent care job. Now I make my schedule, have a great rapport with my patients, and find myself spending much-needed time with my family.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Navigating a business is completely unlike working in the medical field as a practitioner. Treating patients’ medical needs does not entail a single inkling of running a business when you are an employee of a hospital or clinic. This is when my knowledge from my family’s businesses kicked in. I owe a lot of my success to that experience of my life.
I was able to use what I know about entrepreneurship to build myself up into a successful Medspa. The interesting thing about being a franchisee of Pout Medspa is that I recognize the amount of knowledge one has to have of the financial world along with that core medical expertise.
There were moments I stumbled and made errors as far as the business side of my Medspa, but I was able to quickly recover and find creative solutions for these mishaps. Having a strong team in Pout Medspa was also foundational to where I stand today because Pout Mobile Management has consistently given me the tools I need to succeed.

Is there any advice you’d like to share with our readers who might just be starting?
If you are pursuing a dream, don’t let anyone hold you back. Use your adversities to drive you forward and be the fuel to your fire. No successful person did it without hardship. That is what made them successful. This is something I wish I knew sooner! It’s so easy to allow the voices of others to convince your mind that you are not good enough, but you are if you believe you are.
Another thing that has driven my success is having a Coach. The greatest athletes and successful business owners have had mentors and coaches that give them the keys to success. Do yourself a favor and hire someone to be your coach. Coaches are a time machine, as one of my favorite coaches Jessie Lee says, they get you there quicker by helping you develop the mindset of success.
