Today we’d like to introduce you to Jenora Haynes.
Hi Jenora, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
As I explore the Fashion World, I have always expressed interests in every aspect of it. From modeling, to the construction of the garments, to the creative display of the garments, and to the stories behind all of the brands. My passion for the industry and strategically developing skills to utilize has helped me create a deep appreciation for the art and a diverse perception to the community. As I continue my journey through the Fashion Industry, I hope to become an impactful, inspiring, and innovative designer.
Currently, I am the Founder and Head Designer of Incassable Fashion, a luxury fashion company that strives to enhance leaders in the fashion industry and provide pieces that makes legendary statements. Incassable creates luxury couture pieces that amplify each of our customers wardrobes and makes lasting impressions to whomever lay their eyes upon them. After several years of experience diversifying my skillset in the fashion industry, I am blessed to join numerous talented designers and display works of art for my consumers to admire and look phenomenal as they walk into every important event in their life.
My life’s mission is to be an inspiration to, not only to people in the fashion industry, but people in all aspects of life to chase their dreams and become the best versions of themselves in the process.
As I have stated in various times in my life, “Everyday is a chance to be someone better, it all starts with your decision to make change.” I am known as the Head Designer of my brand “Incassable Fashion”. I am also known professionally as a Business Educator, Content Creator, and Model/Actress, which is a part of my Jenora Marie brand. In regards, to my childhood dream, it was always my dream to have a career within the fashion industry. However, I never considered owning my own luxury couture business until I completed my master’s degree in Luxury Fashion Management at SCAD University. My journey with choosing fashion as my career started when I went to Barbizon Modeling and Acting school when I was in high school. My parents saw how much I took interest in the craft and decided to invest into me to ensure I was able to develop my skills into a potential career. After I completed a few modeling and acting roles, I saw how much I loved fashion and the way it lit up my heart. In those moments I knew that I wanted to be a part of the fashion industry. During the summers of my high school career, I obtained jobs at retails stores to gain experience within the industry. As I approached my senior year, I decided that I wanted to pursue my undergraduate education in Fashion Retail and Merchandising. Upon receiving a full academic scholarship to Lamar University, I decided to continue my education and commit to the university. While I was there, I was able to organize multiple fashion shows as the president of Lamar Fashion Merchandising Association and I developed a professional network with my department, which fully supported my goals and dreams as a student. As I concluded my undergradate career, I was blessed to be featured in our Inspire. Innovate. Impact. Cardinal Magazine. I received numerous awards which included, the Most Promising Professional Award by my department chair, Jill Killough, and head professor of my department, Janice Kimmons, received the Senior of Significance Award, nominated for Lamar University Inspirational Woman Award, received Woman of the Year Award and I was a co-host for the Wardrobe Wednesday segment on the Beat for 12 News. After I completed my
bachelor’s degree in Fashion Retail and Merchandising and my minor in Business Management at Lamar University, I thought I wanted to pursue a career as a Fashion Buyer. However, I was blessed to be continuously guided by the Dean of our Lamar Fashion Department, Janice Kimmons, to become the best version of myself as well as selecting the best career for myself. After I spent several years within the fashion retail
industry and learning every position within the retail chain of command, I knew I loved the concept of retail, but I never saw my career staying within the walls of someone else’s company. However, I knew if I wanted my own retail store, I knew I wanted my merchandise to be higher end and have a sense of exclusivity. Therefore, I decided to continue my career at SCAD University in Atlanta, Georgia, mastering in Luxury and Fashion Management. I wanted to learn more about Luxury Fashion and the business behind it. While I was there learning about the past and present luxury designers, I was inspired by Coco Chanel’s story to build my brand today. Her brand is privately owned by family, it is classy, timeless, and it has exclusive pieces that adds significant value to the brand. Coco Chanel’s story and legacy will forever be legendary in the fashion industry. At that moment I knew I wanted to tell my own story, build my own classy, elegant, timeless pieces, and have a brand that inspires others to do the same.
My brand is called “Incassable Fashion”. “Incassable” means “unbreakable” in French. My brand’s name reflects my spirit and who I am. My brand presents unique, classy, bold, confident, and elegant custom pieces of art for women to be admired in. I aspire to showcase my story through my collections. My personality, my morals, my values, my character, and my spirit all live within my collections. On another note, I also hope to aspire other designers to create their own unique brands that emulates their stories. Our stories are what live on after we are gone, they are our legacy. I want designers to know that their story matters just as much as the next. Someone’s life can change for the better if we are brave and vulnerable enough to share our testimonies. Every day we have the choice to control the narrative of our stories… we are the narrators. The question now
remains what do you want your legacy to say after you are gone? For me, I want people to see my brand and yield in admiration. My brand represents more than just me. It represents anyone whose story is similar to mine. When people wear my brand, I want them to be feel confident, look unique, stand out, feel invincible or should I say….unbreakable. My brand represents the spirits that can’t be broken and the art that speaks to you so much it leaves an imprint on you in the most positive way. The way we all admire fashion when we connect to a piece that we see. And that is what my brand
represents. That is who I am. My legacy.
In all honesty, every designer wants the opportunity to showcase their work at any of then Fashion Weeks globally. Every designer wants a celebrity client that showcases their designs at a major event or in a high fashion magazine. Every designer also wants to make their own unique mark on the fashion industry and have their brand remembered in Fashion History. Of course, my goals are the same. I would feel blessed with every opportunity that helps elevates my brand to the next level. However, as long as I am able to do what I love, provide for my family, give back to my community, and build a successful company that I can pass down within my family… I would feel that I would have accomplished my dream goal.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
As an entrepreneur, the road is rarely smooth—there are always obstacles to overcome. One of the biggest challenges has been assembling the right team—making sure they are not only qualified but also consistently growing in their strengths and addressing their weaknesses. It’s important to evaluate whether those traits are assets or liabilities to the vision of the company.
Keeping the team motivated, paid, and busy with meaningful work is another ongoing task. Then there’s the process of finding a manufacturer, whether domestically or overseas, which can be an extensive and complicated journey. Sourcing high-quality fabric, lace, and other materials to create samples is also a struggle. The sampling process itself is long, but it’s critical to ensure every garment meets the highest standard of quality.
Most of my struggles have been pretty common—nothing too out of the ordinary. But I’ve been fortunate to have mentors and a network of fellow entrepreneurs who constantly remind me that my fears, frustrations, and roadblocks are a normal part of the business journey. Having a support system of people who’ve walked this path before has truly been a blessing. They’re always there with wisdom, encouragement, or a solution to help me push through.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
I’m a fashion entrepreneur who specializes in creating high-quality, thoughtfully designed garments that merge style, detail, and craftsmanship. My brand is known for its attention to fabric, fit, and finish—ensuring every piece feels luxurious, intentional, and timeless. From sourcing premium materials to overseeing every step of the sample process, I’m deeply involved in bringing each design to life with purpose and passion.
What sets my brand apart is our commitment to excellence through every stage of development. I don’t cut corners. I believe in perfecting the product before it ever reaches the hands of the customer. Whether it’s the quality of the lace or the precision of stitching, every detail matters. I’m not just producing clothes—I’m curating a standard of elegance and quality that speaks for itself.
Brand-wise, I’m most proud of the perseverance behind the scenes. It’s easy to celebrate the finished product, but the true strength lies in the process—the sleepless nights, the multiple jobs needed to keep the company and team afloat when the financials fall short, the team building, the challenges of manufacturing, and the constant pursuit of improvement. I take pride in knowing that every piece we create has been part of a journey filled with intention, learning, and growth.
For your readers, I want them to know that when they support my brand, they’re investing in more than just a garment—they’re investing in a dream, a story, and a standard of quality that I will never compromise on. Whether you’re looking for a statement piece or a staple with meaning, I strive to deliver fashion that feels both personal and powerful.
What sort of changes are you expecting over the next 5-10 years?
Over the next 5 to 10 years, I see my business growing at an exceptional pace. My vision is to expand beyond custom couture clothing and move into mass production, offering inclusive sizing that ranges from 2 to 28. I believe every individual deserves to feel confident and beautiful in what they wear, and I’m committed to making high-quality, stylish pieces accessible to all body types.
I also envision opening a larger warehouse to increase our production capabilities and create a space that supports the full scope of our operations. As my team grows, I plan to lead a group of passionate, talented individuals who share the same love and dedication for the brand that I’ve nurtured and expanded over the years.
Another major milestone I see on the horizon is opening my first flagship store in the heart of Houston, Texas. The store will serve as a physical representation of the brand, with headquarters located on the second floor to oversee all business operations. It will be a hub for creativity, community, and commerce.
On a global scale, I aim to participate in major fashion events such as New York Fashion Week, London Fashion Week, or Paris Fashion Week. While I will continue to offer custom, limited-edition pieces, I’m also excited to reach a broader market by offering more accessible and convenient options for customers to experience my designs.
The fashion industry is evolving toward inclusivity, sustainability, and innovation—and I plan to be at the forefront of that shift.
