Hi Kerelle Laura, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
Moving from Brooklyn, New York, to Houston, TX, I knew I had to move with purpose. When I first arrived, I quickly realized that my job wasn’t fulfilling—it was just a paycheck, not a career. Frustrated with feeling stuck, I decided to take action. I invested in training and started offering teeth whitening, tooth gems, and similar services.
I always knew I wanted to expand, but I wasn’t sure in which direction. That’s when I discovered that, in Texas, I could become an injector as long as I had a supervising physician, a nurse practitioner on my team. Determined to elevate my expertise, I took a course with a doctor here locally and began injecting. But I didn’t stop there—I wanted to master aesthetics, so I traveled abroad, training in the UK and China to refine my skills.
Houston is vast, and I saw the need for a beauty one-stop shop where clients could receive multiple services in one place. With my background in science, a strong eye for aesthetics, and knowledge of anatomy, everything started coming together. I began in a small suite-style space, steadily growing my business until I secured a larger location in the Galleria area. Now, we proudly serve clients from all over who seek top-tier aesthetic treatments under one roof.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Of course, this journey hasn’t been without its challenges. Navigating the instability of today’s economy while growing a business has been no easy feat. On top of that, introducing new services always comes with a learning curve, and those early imperfections can be nerve-wracking—especially when you genuinely care about your clients and their experience. However, every challenge has been a lesson, pushing me to refine my skills, improve my services, and continue striving for excellence.
