Today we’d like to introduce you to Kevin Brandenberg.

Kevin Brandenberg

Hi Kevin, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today.
As a former collegiate athlete in Basketball and Track and Field, I started to develop a passion for fitness. Once my playing days were over, I knew I would want to transition over into the fitness industry.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It definitely been some obstacles along the way. Sometimes, posting workout content can be redundant. Before I changed my IG to a fitness account, I rarely posted. However, you’ll be cheating yourself if you’re not showcasing your talent on these social platforms. I remind myself that a lot of opportunities can come my way if I stay persistent.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
I am known for my creative and intense workouts that I post on my Instagram. My brand of fitness is centered around the practice of Calisthenics. After my college career, I started creating workout routines based around bodyweight workouts. After years of only lifting weights due to training for athletic purposes, I was instantly hooked. I loved the results my body was seeing. I still incorporate weight training with clients, but I definitely show them how you can get in shape using Calisthenics. You can go to the park or even work out in the comfort of your home if you’re not fond off on being in the setting of a commercial gym. Not only do I offer 1-1 training, I have programs for people wanting to get into calisthenics. Also, I create meal plans and custom-tailored programs for clients. What sets me apart from other trainers is my passion for what I do. I truly love seeing my clients improve not only physically but mentally as well. I love to give my clients that belief that they can get a tough workout done. That mindset will translate to other areas in their livelihood that will benefit them.

What matters most to you? Why?
Being a father matters to me the most. I want to be an example for my son and navigate him through life. Show him how to do the right things and be a man of honor and integrity. Also, improvement of self is important to me. Focusing on becoming a better father, son, sibling, man of God. No one is perfect. We all have are shortcomings, but as long as you’re striving to be a better version of yourself is what matters the most. It’s important that we maximize our potential and get the most out of life that we can. In order to make an impact on others, it starts within.
