Today we’d like to introduce you to Mayra Garcia

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I´m an entrepreneur and life coach. For more than 20 years I worked in technology companies as a marketing manager and a partner alliance manager I loved having contact with people, understanding their needs and work with them getting a tailor made solution or offer. But as my professional life seems great my personal didn´t feel like that. Being very young I started reading self-help books and trying to find the reason I didn´t feel happy. I started working on myself to find answers. I sought into different holistic therapies but then I found Ontologic coaching which completely changed my life. All the answers where inside me, my happiness, sadness and everything in my life depends on me. I fall in love with these tools so I studied them in-depth, not only for my own healing but also to help others on their journey. I started working mostly with women to help them find their passion in life ,their purpose, learn to accept themselves, take care of themselves and be happy with whom they are. This decision has been incredibly rewarding, allowing me to witness firsthand the changes in my clients’ lives. I myself have overcame post-partum depression, losses, career changes, country movings, started a new business and I can assure you can survived everything and enjoy a fulfilling life. I´m willing to help you discover all your potential and accompany you thru this wonderful self-discovery journey.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
no, it hasn´t been a smooth road, I struggled with self-doubt on doing a 180 degree switch in my career. Leaving technology and marketing was a tough decision. For a long time, I felt like I was trying to decide on the “right” direction where to start. I dealt with the impostor syndrome, for a long time I doubt if was qualified to help other women. But I worked thru all these sabotaging thoughts and DID it. At the end the reward has been amazing seeing my clients changed their vision on life, to feel they have options, possibilities, has been an amazing gift.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Divino femenino is an Instagram project which holds my coaching and holistic therapies practice. It is also the place where I share coaching, self esteem and my clients success stories. I´m specialized in helping women to connect with their true-self, embrace what they are, change what they don´t like about themselves or around them and find their own way to be happy. I have overcame post-partum depression, family losses, career changes and now I feel happy with my life, doing what I love, living the life I want, embracing my true self.
What sets my practice special, it’s a blend of coaching and different holistic therapies. I share the tools that helped me on my own self discovery journey and help me overcame my challenges. I help my clients to build their personal set of tools so you can use them whenever you need.
I want your readers to know that I´m fully commited to walk this personal journey with my clients. From one-on-one sessions to different options according to various needs and lifestyles. I will soon be opening a LLC with a partner to make my business bigger and can reach more people I´m super excited about this.

In terms of your work and the industry, what are some of the changes you are expecting to see over the next five to ten years?
More often I see people who feel traditional therapy isn’t for them. They look for something, deeper, faster where they don´t have to depend on a therapist. They search for meaningful changes in shorter time and to get the tools to deal with their everyday situations. So my approach suits a lot of people you can see results in a short period of time and you got the tools that your own process needs.
