Today we’d like to introduce you to Meagan Henriquez
Hi Meagan, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I remember when I was around 16 years old and working. I was listening to Fabolous’s song “For the Love,” and it made me think about starting my own business. I spent some time drawing logos and eventually launched an online boutique, along with trying out other side jobs. As time went by, I realized I didn’t feel complete and started to wonder what my true purpose was. I asked myself what inspires me and how I could create wealth for future generations. A couple of years later, I decided to invest in a mentorship program that provided all the resources I needed with a knowledgeable person to guide me. I noticed the lack of opportunities and resources in my community. I studied and applied the methods I learned, saw positive results, and thought, “I want to help others achieve this.” My first investment was in my Airbnb business called Liz Heart Stays, and my second was my consulting company, She EO Consulting. Helping others reach their goals gives me a sense of purpose, especially when I get to decorate for someone’s getaway.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The journey has not been easy; there are always challenges along the way. I have invested a lot of money into my online boutique and other side projects in order to pursue my passion. At times, I felt like I was just trying to survive while juggling so many different things. This ended up wearing me out and made me lose my excitement for it all. Eventually, I reached a point where I asked myself, “What am I really doing? Is this bringing me joy, or am I just trying to make it work?” Sometimes, it’s important to take a step back, take a break, and reassess things for a better result.
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
My businesses is bigger than me because my purpose is bigger than money.
I am the founder of She EO Consulting & Liz Heart Stays. All my businesses involve helping others whether that be wanting to get your finances together to purchase that home/car or want to get away in one of my rental spaces to unwind.
She EO Consulting is a financial consulting firm that assists clients in improving their credit, securing funding, and exploring various investment options.
Liz Heart Stays is our real estate venture. We recently purchased our first Airbnb in Houston, Texas, and we aim to add more locations, including long-term rentals, by 2026.
The goal is to provide my next generation with options so they don’t have to take a low-paying job/toxic environment just to earn a paycheck. I want them to understand the importance of financial literacy and how to invest, so they can get ahead in life.
