Today we’d like to introduce you to Mendel Mccoy.
Hi Mendel, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Growing up, I recollect shopping with my parents and not being able to take home this distressed demi jacket that I wanted badly! I went home that same day and made a similar jacket to the one I saw in-store, which actually turned out better than the one I would’ve purchased. From then on I would revamp pieces of my wardrobe. My journey started from there, being creative at such a young age molded me into the stylish individual I am today. Later on in life, I knew that I wanted to do more! After graduating college, I gained experience in retail and continued to look for different opportunities where I could apply my talent. In 2019, I started working alongside yassy brown, owner of fashion haus and haus of brown where I started as an intern and then worked my way up to becoming the creative director for this amazing team of talented potential. This led me to pursue a new passion of becoming a personal and stylist and the rest is history.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The road has not been smooth one thing that I struggle with is finding a balance between my personal life and work life, making sure I have days to unwind and relax. But I’m getting better haha.

I am a fashion stylist who helps individuals create a suitable image by selecting wardrobe. Whether it’s for editorial features, music videos, public appearances and more. I also work with creatives to deliver strategic visions for upcoming occasions such as fashion shows, and other social events. I am known for my diverse way of styling men and unique fashion for women.
