Today we’d like to introduce you to Nicole Odom-Hardnett.
Hi Nicole, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I am the founder and CEO of Focus Point Solutions, LLC t/a Focus Point Behavioral Health. Focus Point specializes in Addictions Counseling and Mental Health Therapy. We have been in business since 2010. We were founded in Maryland and have four locations there. We are looking to begin opening a new location in the Conroe or Tomball/Spring area by the end of the fall.
I am a PhD candidate with a Masters degree in Human Services and studied Business Administration as an undergrad. I am a wife and mother of a blended family, consisting of my husband and 7 adult children.
I am also an author of several books: International best sellers “Moms Who Boss Up Post Pandemic”, “Cracking the Rich Code vol. 7”, and “Blended to Perfection”; “Dating Made Simple for Women”; “Nick Jr’s Hat Adventure.”
I have another business which I am also CEO and founder of called Talk to Nicole. Talk To Nicole coaches clients through the complicated dynamics that can occur in a blended family and or relationship.
We moved to Texas during the pandemic and we live near the Woodlands.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
We have challenges just like any other business. Currently our business challenge is finding customer oriented, skill Counselors and Therapists.

The company name is Focus Point Solutions, LLC dba Focus Point Behavioral Health. We are an out patient substance use and mental health clinic. Focus Point was founded on solid business practice and over 20 years in the health care sector. We have several programs which include: intensive outpatient, outpatient, MAT, mental health, DUI/DWI, employment services, and prp. We work with adults and adolescents. We are known for our ability to meet out clients where they are. I am most proud of the mindset shift the community has taken on for Focus Point. The readers should know we care about out clients and that we are in the process of franchising.
Do you have any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
Helping the elderly couple across the street with my great aunt. Traveling and living in different states with my mother and visiting my father in Germany, while attending school there for a short time in that country.
