Community Highlights: Meet Ninoska Soto of The 4 A’s RE & Financial Team

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ninoska Soto.

Hi Ninoska, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I came from Honduras to the US when I was 16. I was raised by my Paternal grandmother and aunt. My mom came to this country when I was 1 1/2 years old so I basically saw her again when I was 16. Coming from a humble and single mother’s background, I learned to become tough in life and to give all it takes to achieve my goals. Coming to a new country where everything was different especially the language was a hard obstacle to overcome but not something impossible to achieve. I have always been a student and love everything about education. So early on I decided that I wanted to have a career in business. I went to the University of Houston where I got my bachelor’s in Finance and Human Resources. After graduating, I became a mom of a beautiful princess; Valerie! My reason and motivation to become a better person every day. Becoming a mom made me realize I wanted to be free! I wanted to be able To spend more time with her and not miss any special moments. I wanted to change the path for my family, I didn’t want to repeat the same story as my moms; a very hard-working woman who never had time for her kids because she needed to work. She needed to bring food to the table. That’s when my entrepreneurship path started. The best decision I have ever made in my life!

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Language was a huge barrier at the beginning. Being an immigrant was a huge obstacle because of the lack of information. Because our own people made us believe that we can’t become someone in this country. We have fears thinking that we are different and that we don’t deserve to be here. Battling your our family curses.

As you know, we’re big fans of The 4 A’s RE & Financial Team. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
I own a financial and Real Estate company where I plan to educate our community on how to run their finances in the best way and how to invest their money. Why the financial industry? Because it’s a necessity in this country. Because many people don’t have a savings account, don’t have good credit, don’t own a house, don’t own a car, don’t have money when they retire, and don’t have a business. My goal is to impact as many individual and business owners as possible by providing the best solutions for their financial problems. The 4 A’s has as a priority to educate our community, and to make them understand that being able to run their finances in the best way is a necessity to create the life of their dreams.

What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
What I love the most about Houston is the diversity; there are people from many nationalities. I hate the traffic!
