Hi Rafael, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
We started doing weddings about 15 years ago, just looking to get extra income, after that Debbie my wife got pregnant and we decided to pour all our current savings into buying our first camera and to make EPF official, now we are doing over 300 weddings per year we have 14 people working at the company (from contractors to editors to people inside the company)
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
oh not at all haha! Being a business owner is never a smooth road. I believe the biggest struggle is to overcome fears along the way, the fear of hiring your first employee, the fear of investing money into an ad campaign etc I always say the road of a business owner is fill with walls of fear and every time you jump one there is a bigger one on the other side. You have to get used to the idea of being comfortable with the unknown, and yes there are some guidance and mentors on the way but mostly is figuring out as you go

We specialize in filming weddings, We are a budget friendly wedding cinematography but not cookiecutter we care about our couples and take pride on each one of our films, we want to be able to bring those moments back to our couples and immortalize them on film for them
What are your plans for the future?
We want to be able to teach more people how to grow as business with the experience we have accumulated that is one big dream of mine to be able to show people on how to start their own gigs and to overcome those fears
