Being a mother of three, I understand the challenges and joys of motherhood firsthand. My journey through motherhood has provided me with invaluable insights into the needs and concerns of new mothers.
I conceived the idea for a luxury postnatal care facility when I recognized a significant gap in the market for high-quality postnatal services in Houston. Inspired by my love for the finer things in life and commitment to helping new mothers, I envisioned a place where mothers could receive comprehensive care in a luxurious and supportive environment. My drive to provide a unique and much-needed service to the community has been the cornerstone of my business venture.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Balancing life as a mother of three while starting a new business is definitely a challenge. But motherhood has taught me to stay organized and focused under pressure, which helps in both areas. The biggest challenge, though, is ensuring we hire the right people to give the best care to the moms staying at The Ruby. It’s not just a business for me—it’s about creating a supportive, nurturing environment where these women feel valued and heard. I’m committed to making this a perfect experience for them, and I’m passionate about building a team that shares that vision.

How do you define success?
For me, success is defined by the ability to bring an idea to life, no matter the size, and create a perfect work-life balance in the process. Personally, spending quality time with my kids is a huge part of my definition of success. I know how quickly time with them can slip by before school and activities take over, so owning a business that allows me to fully invest in them while doing something I’m passionate about is what success looks like to me.
