Hi Ronnetra, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I was introduced to the accessory business by my mother. She started first, and I watched her not only succeed financially but also help men and women feel even better about themselves by adding beautiful accessories to their outer appearance. Because she laid such a strong foundation, I’m now able to build on it by helping people accessorize from the inside out.

At first, I joined simply to earn a little extra income — my goal was just to help pay my bills. In fact, within my first year I was able to pay off my car. But what surprised me was how fulfilling it became beyond the money. Clients began telling me that watching our jewelry live shows lifted their spirits, helped decrease their depression, and eased their anxiety. That’s when I realized my true purpose wasn’t just about profit, but about making a difference — helping others feel good both inside and out.

I’ve gotten to where I am in my business by choosing not to worry about what others are doing or about competition. Instead, I focus on my purpose. While many accessory businesses may primarily focus on dollar signs, my priority has always been how people feel. When someone shops with me, I want them to know I genuinely care about how they feel when they wear my accessories. My focus on individuals over profit has allowed me to build authentic connections and grow my business with meaning and integrity.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
My journey in this business hasn’t always been smooth. Like many small business owners, I’ve faced obstacles — from rising wholesale costs and shipping fees to higher taxes. Those challenges forced me to raise my retail prices in order to maintain even a small profit.

At the same time, I’ve been intentional about keeping my accessories affordable. Even with my price increase from $5 to $8, my pieces are still very reasonably priced compared to local department stores or even specialty accessory shops in the mall. I want my customers to feel confident that they’re getting quality, on-trend pieces at a price that honors both their budget and the value of my work.

As you know, we’re big fans of Netra’s Bling LLC . For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
One of the main things I want people to know about my business is that it’s built on purpose, not just profit. We don’t just sell accessories — we help people ‘accessorize from the inside out’ by boosting their confidence and mood.

Our pieces are affordable, versatile, and carefully chosen so customers can look and feel their best without breaking the bank. We also go beyond sales by sharing mental health tips, encouraging self-care, and creating a welcoming space where people feel seen and valued.

Ultimately, Netra’s Bling is about connection. Whether someone shops on our website, during a live show, or at an event, they’re not just buying jewelry — they’re joining a community that celebrates beauty, confidence, and well-being.

We’ve become best known for our ability to personally accessorize people for their special moments. Whether it’s a trip, an award ceremony, a wedding party (even the bride herself), or honoring a loved one who has passed, clients send us photos of their outfits and we hand-select accessories that complement their look perfectly.

What was your favorite childhood memory?
One of my best childhood memories is playing dress-up in my mom’s heels, layering on her jewelry, and trying out her different perfumes. Those playful moments of experimenting with style and beauty planted the seeds for my love of accessories and self-expression that I carry into my business today.
