Community Highlights: Meet Sara Cowle Englishbee of The Home Sweet Home Group & Cowles Turf Care

Today we’d like to introduce you to Sara Cowle Englishbee

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I was born and raised in Spring, TX, and have always felt deeply connected to this community. Before stepping into real estate, I spent over 15 years in the retail industry, where I developed a strong work ethic, a passion for helping people, and an appreciation for the importance of clear communication.

In 2019, I made the leap to become a realtor. What started as a career change quickly grew into a passion for helping people navigate one of the biggest decisions of their lives. Finding The Home Sweet Home Group truly launched my career into full speed. The knowledge, support, and fun environment there gave me the confidence and tools I needed to thrive in this industry. Whether it’s helping a first-time buyer step into their dream home or guiding a family toward a fresh start, being part of their journey is incredibly fulfilling.

Recently, my husband and I relaunched our family-owned landscaping company, Cowles Turf Care. This venture has been exciting and rewarding, as we provide high-quality lawn care services to our community while growing a business close to our hearts.

In addition, I partnered with my lender bestie, Megan Davis, to create The Closing Collective. This initiative brings realtors and lenders together to provide a seamless, stress-free experience for home buyers. Our goal is to make the home-buying process not only efficient but also enjoyable.

Balancing family, business, and my passion for real estate has been a whirlwind, but it’s a journey I wouldn’t trade for anything. My husband and I are raising our two beautiful children while pursuing the dream of creating a lasting impact on our community through the work we love.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road, but I think the challenges have made the journey even more rewarding. The biggest struggle for me was taking a chance on myself and pushing toward my own personal goals. It’s not always easy to step out of your comfort zone and bet on your own success, but it’s been worth every risk.

With my husband and I both owning our own businesses, the workload can be intense. Balancing two businesses, late nights, and the responsibilities of raising our two children has been a real challenge. There are days when the to-do list feels endless, and it can be hard to find that balance between work and family life.

But through all of it, the hard work has taught us resilience and determination. Seeing our businesses grow and knowing that we’re building something meaningful for our family and community has been a constant source of motivation. While the road has had its bumps, it’s also been an incredible adventure that I’m grateful for every single day.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
I’m a realtor with The Home Sweet Home Group based out of Magnolia, TX. My specialty is helping first-time home buyers navigate the exciting yet sometimes overwhelming process of purchasing their first home. I also love assisting sellers in preparing their homes for the market and achieving the best results. What sets me apart is my commitment to making the experience both seamless and enjoyable. I strive to educate and support my clients every step of the way, so they feel confident in their decisions.

Beyond real estate, my husband and I run Cowles Turf Care, our family-owned landscaping business. We proudly serve the Magnolia and Montgomery areas, offering routine lawn maintenance, landscape design, and more. Whether it’s keeping lawns looking pristine or creating custom outdoor spaces, we take pride in delivering high-quality, personalized service.

What I’m most proud of—both as a realtor and a business owner—is the trust my clients place in me. Whether I’m helping someone find their dream home or enhance their outdoor living space, I pour my heart into making their vision a reality.

For readers looking to buy or sell a home, or those in need of professional landscaping services, I’d love for you to know that our focus is always on you. My goal is to make your home-buying, selling, or landscaping journey smooth, stress-free, and even a little fun along the way.

Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
Absolutely, I wouldn’t be where I am today without the incredible support and encouragement of so many people. First and foremost, my husband, Jeremy Cowle, has been my rock. Without his unwavering belief in me, I would have never taken the leap into real estate. He’s been by my side through every step, encouraging me to chase my goals and providing the stability I’ve needed to grow both professionally and personally.

I also owe so much to Katie Cooper, Broker and Owner of The Home Sweet Home Group, and Rachel Merks, the Director of Agents. These two remarkable women saw potential in me that I didn’t fully see in myself. They’ve provided me with the tools, guidance, and advice needed to thrive in this fast-paced industry. Their mentorship and leadership have been instrumental, and without their support, I don’t know how I would’ve survived, let alone succeeded, in this business.

Lastly, I have to acknowledge my amazing clients and teammates, who constantly inspire and motivate me. Their trust and encouragement remind me every day why I love what I do. This journey has been far from solo, and I’m so grateful to have such a strong foundation of people lifting me up along the way.
