Community Highlights: Meet Sowmya Nadiger

Today we’d like to introduce you to Sowmya Nadiger.

Hi Sowmya, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Hi I am Sowmya Nadiger. I am a Realtor by profession and love to do what I do. I worked in human resources for a few years then we relocated to India for a couple of years to attend to the family’s needs. We returned to the US and I had to restart my career and my two girls were young and did need me around. We decided to get the house-built dirt up and were involved in the home-buying process from the beginning. We identified the lot and decided on the plan. I was enjoying the whole process from the design gallery appointments, making the selection for the home to visiting every week to the site to see our dream home come alive.

It was an amazing experience; I did not want to get back to an 8 to 5 job that is when I did some research and found out about getting licensed in Real Estate. I got licensed in 2019 and that was the beginning of my new journey. I was lucky to help a friend buy their first home and little did I know that would give me so much happiness and satisfaction. I was a part of one of their most important decisions of life and it was so critical for me to direct them in the right direction so they can make informed decisions.

Then there was no turning back I have helped many first-time home buyers, sellers, and investors. I love what I do it is very important for me to first understand my client’s needs and then guide them in the right direction. I always support my clients from start to finish and am available to answer any questions to make the process as smooth as possible.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
Well, it has not been a smooth road I did have to deal with many hiccups but there’s always a solution to everything. I did educate myself each time I was working on a deal.

Every deal in real estate is different. At one point I was doing everything, yet I was not getting as much business which made me think I should probably give up as this profession is not for me during which I lost my mom, and at that time I was really heartbroken and was unable to focus on business, I had to renew my license and did require me to take up an exam.

I decided to give it another shot and studied for the exam and got through from there on everything went well. I slowly started getting business and there is no looking back.

We’ve been impressed with your work, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?

Brand wise I go with all your real estate needs ends here. My negotiation skill helps my clients get the best deal. They prefer to work with me and do refer and come back whenever they have any real estate needs. I would like the readers to know that they can always reach out to me for the best service and best deal and I am committed to achieving client success and satisfaction every step of the way.

Is there any advice you’d like to share with our readers who might just be starting out?
My advice to those starting out is to find a good broker who will provide support and provide training that will help you get your foot in the door of the real estate business.

Always reach out to your broker if you are unsure about anything and communicate. Also, do record the mileage when you drive for the showings or appointments it is helpful. Be organized.
