Hi Taylor, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I started my business as a side hustle while pursuing my master’s degree. What began as a creative outlet quickly turned into something I genuinely loved… helping entrepreneurs and small business owners show up confidently online. I enjoyed learning the ins and outs of different industries, building authentic connections, and giving clients the tools to cultivate and grow their audience.
In 2023, I decided it was time to legitimize myself and build TAG Media Agency from the ground up. At the time, I was working full-time, but by the end of the year, I was laid off, it was a tough moment that ended up being a turning point. I took it as an opportunity to start fresh. Originally from Dallas, I moved to Houston to immerse myself in the city’s thriving entrepreneurial community, connect with like-minded creatives, and grow TAG Media in a place where innovation and hustle are everywhere.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The road hasn’t always been smooth, but I’ve learned to embrace the challenges that come with it. Entrepreneurship will humble you… one moment I’m managing five active clients, and the next, I’m problem-solving and figuring out my next move. It’s required me to be flexible and honest with myself about what it really takes to build something from the ground up.
This is a space I’ve never operated in before, having to hustle not just for my dreams, but to take care of my family. But it’s unlocked a new level in me. I’ve stepped outside of my comfort zone, learned to move with intention, and found strength in moments I didn’t know I had. Some days are harder than others, but even in the uncertainty, I feel deeply grateful. The growth is real and so is the grind.
We’ve been impressed with TAG Media Agency, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
TAG Media Agency is a boutique digital marketing agency that helps entrepreneurs show up online with confidence and clarity. I work closely with small business owners… especially women and creatives who are building something meaningful and need help bringing their vision to life through branding, content, and strategy.
What sets TAG apart is the personal touch. This isn’t a cookie-cutter, one-size-fits-all agency. I’m intentional about getting to know each client’s business, voice, and goals to build something sustainable, not just trendy. I’m not here to give you a quick aesthetic fix—I’m here to help you market smarter, tell your story, and actually connect with your audience.
I offer a range of services, from full brand identity development to social media strategy and execution—but what I’m most proud of is how I’ve supported business owners who felt overwhelmed or stuck. I make marketing feel less intimidating. More doable. More you.

If there’s one thing I’ve learned on this journey, it’s that betting on yourself is always worth it… even when it’s scary, even when the path isn’t clear. There’s no perfect time to start. Sometimes you have to move before you feel fully ready and trust that the clarity will come in the doing.
I want readers to know that building something from scratch takes grit, grace, and a whole lot of faith, but it’s possible.
